This is very true. If you don't believe lemons help in making your system more alkaline, put lemon wedges in your water and then use the test strips to test your urine. Enough said!!!

I put a lemon in my water everyday. I tend to be acidic and it helps with the alkaline. I talked to a dietician for a bladder problem several years ago and she told me this would help, which it has. I like to have Low Carb Wraps with either Chicken, Lean Pork Tenderloin or Lean Steak. Also fish is good too. I sometimes put 1 tablespoon of Roasted Red Pepper Hummus on the wrap, then add the meat. I also add bell peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, 2% grated cheese and light Ranch Dressing. It is very satisfing.

AMEN!!! to that. It is much harder to lose weight the older you get. Although, it seems to take longer than when I was younger, you still can lose weight as long as you keep track of your calories and try to get some excercise in, most days.
