  • You're EVIL if you only eat 1200 cals... don't do it! Watch your protein and salt... not enough protein will make you tired and weak... but not enough salt, well, that will give you the shakes and heart palpitation. DON'T BE STUPID! Go a head and run. You can take it :-D Be firm when people try to sway you, but be nice!…
  • You are completely spot on actually! I have never in my left had a pair of pants that don't fall down ;)
  • Can't lie, this made me giggle. I have a really close friend that I'm currently in college with and she does the same thing, just with marks. She'll ask me what my mark are than say hers is between 4 or 5 percent higher. I believed her at first, until I actually saw her grads... GIANT LIES. In reality she's almost always…
  • On my 25th birthday I was living about 35 hours from home. As I hadn't seen my family in over a month I TRIED to take a birthday shot of me with me cake to send to my mom... and well... the pictures didn't survive. Every attempted was more horrifying than the last. It didn't matter how much I stuck out my chin or raised my…
  • I think they are completely accurate if you have the body shape and muscle to fat ratios they margin for... HOWEVER as someone who is large chested and naturally more muscular than the average non-weight-lifter, it's idiotic. Yet... I was still really happy when I dropped out of the obese category...
  • You are looking great! I, personally, am very proud of you for posting the pictures even though you are embarrassed. It takes a LOT of courage to hold your breath and jump into the deep... and even more to admit that you are embarrassed and work your behind off to chance :D!!! 3 cheers to your hard work!
  • I am a FAR faster walker than I am jogger. A 10 minute walk for the average person would only take me 6-7 minutes, (I blame it on being stumpy and growing up with a long legged mom, had to learn to haul it to keep up), so don't feel bad... ALSO, jogging takes far more effort than fast walking, so though she is faster,…
  • Just wanted to add that not getting enough sodium can be just as dangerous as getting too much. It can lead to heart problems (heart attack) and stroke, oddly enough... I simply wanted to add this as I personally hate salt. This resulted in heart palpitations and a fluttering heart beat that couldn't be explained. I did my…
  • Try tracking your sodium intake for a bit... water weight sucks, and could easily be your problem as most pre-made meals are PACKED with the stuff.
  • After looking at your diary I'd give basic advice of... Eat more, your cals should not be dipping as low as 900... I didn't look all that far in your diary, so it may have been a fluke... but if you have 1800 cals to eat, don't be afraid to eat them! Drink more water Cut out at least SOME of the processed and start eating…
  • Welcome to the Over Weight Club! Love that moment... I know it made my heart jump a little when it happened to me. CONGRATS! You are doing great :D
  • The biggest loser has a decent collection of lower impact DVDs. I have horrible ankle issues, so when I started working out I started with them. Best of luck!
  • My question is, are you having fun and feel happy doing what you're doing? If so, keep it up! If not, cut back a little... It's true that weight loss is mostly about diet... buuuuttt you gotta do what makes you feel good, fulfilled and content :D
  • If you are eating the tic tacs to get the taste of your last meal out of your mouth (as you did with the cigs)... have you tried brushing your teeth more? Not fattening or harmful, you can get lots of yummy flavours AND keeps your smile pretty :-D
  • I have absolutely no advice, just wanted to throw out a giant thumbs up for being a stay at home dad! It's an amazing gift to give your kid(s) =D
  • Was anyone able to do 30DS and another exercise program (c25k for me) in the same die without wanting to keel over, die, and chop their legs off? When I did 30DS I didn't attempt any other exercise programs... however I am doing Ripped in 30 now with c25k on my off days (meaning I run Fridays and Mondays). As the programs…
  • This makes me kinda sad... I actually think both woman have VERY sexy bellies in the before pictures.
  • I'm a total pusher of this --> http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ <-- website. Following it's cals per day I've been losing .5-2lbs a week (since I found it).... I personally set it to no exercise and eat back my workout cals. Good luck!
  • I wont pay for... just about anything new, excluding personal items of course... cloths, video games and furniture are better used. Manicure/pedicure (it shows... my nails are a wreck and I'm okay with it), hair-cuts(though I did get it cut short after losing 10lbs), apples in the fall (far too many delicious wild ones)...…
  • Have you heard of google? http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/george-stella/low-carb-blueberry-muffins-recipe/index.html First recipe that popped up for me... 4 stars, must be good :)
  • If you like a challenge, go for it... if you want something that will be an solid burn and but not make you want to die... try 30 day shred first (not saying its easy, but its easier and shorter intervals). I personally gave it a shot when i was just starting to lose weight (2nd week on this website i believe), it was hard…
  • Amazing! After reading your story, that's all I've got. Just, simply, AMAZING!
  • Happy almost birthday! You look amazing!
  • I'm 5'7 and eat 1500 + exercise cals... I swear by http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ (I set it to sedentary simply so I can earn my exercise cals and enjoy). I've been losing .5-2 lbs a week.
  • Go do something fun... change your life... if you hate school/the program you're in, don't go back... eat more spinach (boosts happy chems). That's all I got. As the song says, "Raise a little hell"!
  • Holy amazing job! You look absolutely fantastic! Love the make-up and hair in the last picture. You'd make a wicked Batgirl.
  • I'm on day 18 and I actually use 2.5lbs, 5lbs and 10lbs, just depends on the exercise. I try to push myself to use the 5s most of the time, but sometimes I need to drop down to be able to continue or finish the exercise... also for some I have to jump up to the 10s so I actually feel like I'm working ie flies.
  • I use http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ to estimate my cals. I'm on a 1570 cal diet (as I set it to sedentary lifestyle) plus my exercise cals. So far it's been working great for me. I've been steadily losing 1-2 lb a week since I started using it.
