  • don't put so much pressure on yourself! celebrate the little things! i celebrate in my head every time i get my fat butt up to do my work outs. and when i started i was seriously self conscious, it took me a week to tell my live in boyfriend what i was doing, two weeks to go outside, a month till i let him be in the room…
  • for me getting my butt up is half the battle, so i try to do things i think are fun like just dance or zumba. when i walk i listen to music that gets my blood pumping, i've even been known to do some air drums while i'm walking. i guess it's all about what you do and what you enjoy and trying to marry them to benefit you.
  • i take 1mg melatonin, usually i take 2-3 depending how awake i am. it takes about 20 minutes for it to kick in so i take it before i start my bedtime routine, so that by the time i'm ready for bed it's kicking it. for me i feel both relaxed and tired.
  • for me, personally, counting and considering my calories has become habit, even on days when i just say f!ck it. for the most part i do eat what i want, i just make sure I'm eating just ONE portion, which honestly, portion control, i think, is what gets most of us. eat only when you're hungry, i always stop and listen to…
