The majority of my weight loss on mfp has been from eating around 1500 calories a day, completely and totally possible. Now that I'm less active I've dropped it back down, but while working out fairly regularly and working on my feet, 1500 worked just fine for me.

dieting and working out has totally added to my curves! I run hills, do squats and lunges and I've got a pretty nice looking *kitten*, as well as working the rest of my body has really helped bring in my waist. its totally possible!

When I was at my peak of weight loss (losing consistently a pound or two a week for set of months), eating right and working out really consistently, I HAD to eat all the time, I was constantly hungry, and ate about ever two hours. I think my metabolism was just running super efficiently at this point. The trick was…

I love smoothies, and when I'm really into eating healthy I have at least one a day. I usually eat eggs in some form for my protein, or yogurt. For me, the trick is finding things to eat when I want sweets, so I keep fruit in m freezer (strawberries, bananas, and honeydew are my favorite) and blend them into a sorbet for…

Dying? Yes. Dead? Nope. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful man in my life who is, in addition to a large number of great qualities, quite chivalrous. I look back on out first date and laugh at myself, I wouldnt let him carry something heavy even when he insisted, rolled my eyes when he jogged ahead to open my car door,…

See, I know we're supposed to approach it as a "life style" change, but to me, it's not (well, not completely). I'm trying to lose weight so I'm doing X, Y, and X. In theory if I kept doing those thing forever, as my lifestyle, wouldn't I be saying I want to be perpetually losing weight? No end to it. So yes, I'm on a diet…

"A teenage girl walks in with no visible body fat and lots of muscle tone, tells you she's a runner and is happy with her weight... but her mother says she's fat and has to lose weight and so we help her do just that. As an individual, as women, as a company, hell, as a nation, we don't stand up for that girl? What is…

okay, so you'd say, "I do 10 sets, of 5 reps" (doesn't quite sounds right but you get what I mean) If you the same motions 5 times, rest, then do 5 again. and so on and so on until you reach 10 groups of 5?

When I gained weight (like 80 pounds :noway: ) me S/O never left me, told me to lose it, said anything bout it....but boy oh boy we almost never had sex......he fell in love with a certain size person, I think it would be reasonable to stay within, lets say, 20 pounds of that weight
