I've had success in losing weight doing both low-carb and high carb, but i found that a high carb diet makes me feel a lot more energized, helps me recover faster and improves my stamina. It takes a little effort and knowledge to do a high carb diet right. The best high carb foods i've found through my experience are…

Yes, too few calories will cause lightheadedness.

Aint no such thing as too much fruit.

Not sure how to log it, but keep it up, because running on sand is a lot better for your feet than running on concrete or asphalt.

Any grocery stores near the hospital? You may have to go elsewhere to get some better food.

Exercise is a HUGE stress reliever.

What Sue said. Eat your fruit. I go over on my sugar every day, by the time i'm halfway through breakfast! Fruit has very little sugar, by weight, comparatively, because it's so full of water and fiber. It also comes with tons of necessary micro-nutrients, like vitamin C, among others.

Sometimes we lose small battles. As long as you win the war, this little bit of peanut butter in nothing more than a bump in the road.

Exactly.

Looks like a good camping recipe for a dutch oven.

I think it's 2% based on calories, but who knows for sure. I haven't watched one of her vids in a long time. And i'm no expert on her diet, but the book that she loosely based her diet off of (80/10/10 Diet) says that you should eat about 1 head of romaine a day. (or the equivalent amount of some other green) It's a small…

There is a lot of misinformation about this girl. People love to discredit fruitarians by characterizing them as people who "only eat fruit", but that's just not the case. Greens are a HUGE part of a fruitarian diet. Seeds and nuts are also included, but not in any large quantity. And i've seen Freelee vids where she makes…

Well that was helpful.

More fruit, more vegetables!!! Less rice cake...

You sure cutting up your body is the best option? It's not too late to do things right. After Tuesday, that may change.

For losing weight? Not too much. But if you are staying under calories, and eating too much fat, what is getting bumped out of your diet to make room for the fat? Protein? Carbohydrates? If you eat too much of one macro, you may not get enough of another. For weight loss, no biggie, but it may not be the best long term…

Hemp, hazelnut, almond and coconut.

You must be getting the wrong cukes.

They're probably not ideal; cucumbers would be better. But i still love pickles. I make pickled jalapenos every year and i add a few super chilis or tabasco peppers into each jar. They are so good!

^^^ Nice screen name. My favorite Tool song!

I like fruit for breakfast. I eat a whole meal of just fruit. It could be a fruit salad, or even a mono-meal of just a single type of fruit.

A few bananas and some almond milk in a blender. A little bit of cinnamon, some vanilla.

I usually only track when i change something up. Since i eat mostly low calorie density food, i really don't need to track. If i eat what i want, within the types of foods that i eat now (mostly fruit and veg), i eat just about exactly what MFP says i should to lose weight. Usually around 2100-2300 Cal/day.

Cycling Running Most important: Changed my diet!

I don't actually reward myself with anything extra. My reward is enjoying the benefit of good health.

Do you have gears on your bike? It's preferable to ride at a higher cadence (pedal speed) in a high gear, than it is to ride at a low cadence in a low gear. I would probably recommend that you hit the bike trails near you. If you start doing 5-10 mile rides once a week, your 1.5 will feel like child's play before too long.…

I've never had a problem with Runkeeper, and it keeps very accurate track of my speed and distance.
