Bad news is I am up 3lbs...big sigh, good news is I am now fitting into my first pair of goal jeans! YAHOO! scale is not everything folks! I am sure the weight gain is due to eating more junk than I usually do, many birthday celebrations! But the exercising is def. paying off on the size shrinking!

I started at a size 14/16 and purchased a size 8 jeans and a med top. I now fit in those and going to go shopping for some 4/6 jeans and some small tops. I hang them where I can see them every day to remind me what my goal is!

My husband always burns 1000's of calories more than I do! There are days that I look at his food diary and grumble, but I know that he also is a foot taller than I am, and weighs more, and he is male which automatically burns more, so I have to put it into perspective. I try to stay around 1500 cal/day. MFP recommends 1200, but I am still nursing my baby, and they do not allow for that here. I have a hard time after school gets out for the kids. I am training for my first 5k! so I run about 30 min 3/week and I do the elliptical for om 3x/week too. I have not started weight training yet...no gym membership and I only have a few weights and equipment here.

Black beans, mango (or any favorite fruit) green onions, dash hot sauce, lemon juice and garlic to taste...yummy! I eat it as a side or over a spinach salad instead of dressing.

I gave birth to my 8th baby in November! I totally understand how hard it is to find time to exercise and calorie count while taking care of little ones! I would love to encourage and be encouraged too! Feel free to add me as a friend!:smile:

I am married, and had our 8th child in NOV. I have 6 girls and 2 boys 12 and under...crazy loud and busy in our house always, but I wouldn't change it for anything!!! I am trying to lose 35 lbs to meet my goal!!!

My husband and I both use Endomondo. It tracks distance, time, calories burned and multiple different activites and it links directly to MFP now! We have both been happy with this app!
