I think it is offensive and disrespectful to her. It would upset me if my husband did that more than every once in a great while. It depersonalizes his wife. He should use her name or at least say "MY wife", which is perfectly fine. The term 'the wife' makes it sound like she is a thing, a possession.

I'm sitting here snacking on 2 tbsp of hummus with raw broccoli and red pepper strips to dip in it. In total, it was about 125 cals.

I'd try eating back only about half the exercise calories instead of all of them. I try to shoot for a net of 900 each day.

I say step out in that bikini, girl!!! You have nothing at all to be ashamed of. You look amazing. By the way, what does NSV mean? I keep seeing that acronym but I can't figure it out.

I think it's a matter of perspective when you consider 'alot' of weight. I'm under 5 feet tall and I needed to lose at least 35 lbs. To me, that seemed like alot, especially since at my height, just a few extra pounds shows up big-time. Here are my stats: age: 39 height: 4'10" SW: 155 CW: 145.4 GW: 120

Hi Becca, Welcome! I know it's really eye-opening when you start tracking those calories. I'm a numbers girl, so I really dig this website. It's fun to see how well I can do with keeping my net calories around 900 or so. I make a game out of it. I also really appreciate that there's a 'complete entry' button; that little…

I've noticed if you eat more than 1200 but your net is below 1200 because you exercised that day, then it doesn't give you that message. I've wondered about that myself, so in general, I try to get the minimum 1200 cals of intake.
