I drink about 20 oz a day, and I add cream and splenda to it. It's usually anywhere from 50-100 cals a day and it has never hindered my weight loss.

I went the other day for lunch and got the soup, salad and breadsticks. Usually around 600-800 for dinner, and then 200-300 for dessert. I'm always more hungry in the evenings, and like to have a glass of wine or beer with dinner. :)

Check out www.skinnytaste.com, there are a TON of delicious recipes on her site and a lot of them are under 400 calories and pretty easy to make. A few I have tried and like are the turkey pumpkin chili, chicken taco chili, lighter eggplant parmesan and lasagna roll ups.

That recipe looks amazing! I have everything for it, I think I might make it today. :) Does the liquid not thicken up at all? I would just enter everything into the recipe builder and track the liquids, but I usually estimate on the high side rather than the low side with recipes. That's just me though.

Drink what you like and have the calories for. I drink skim because I grew up on it and prefer the taste. Drinking whole milk will not make you lose weight any faster or slower than any other kind of milk.

I just recently started cooking these, I prefer them to boneless skinless breasts, they have a lot more flavor! I just grill them with spices and dip in BBQ sauce afterwards. So yummy!

I really like the caramel light frappuccino or any of the hot lattes made with skim milk and no whip cream. Cuts the calories/fat significantly!

I like to mix a plain greek yogurt (Fage is my fave brand) with sugar free pudding mix (usually lemon) and then I add frozen blueberries. It's SO yummy!

I make this too and LOVE it! Never have added the pinch of salt but that's a really good idea...I will try it next time. I always use Fage plain greek yogurt because I think it's the best. :smile:

My husband is from the U.P. - Escanaba area, his family is still there. We go up to visit atleast 3-4 times a year (we live in Lansing). I LOVE it up there! We will probably move up there eventually. Not sure of any races though...aside from the few that are on Mackinac Island. I think there is one this weekend?
