^ That's exactly what I do. Log 1 calorie and put my burn (according to my HRM) in my food or exercise notes for the day.

^ Yeah...I'd have to agree. That's A LOT of time at the gym in one day...don't you get tired?? ETA: I spend between 45-60 minutes at the gym about 4 times a week. It's always a mix of cardio, weights, abs, stretching.

The chocolate chip cookie dough Quest bars ROCK!! BEST flavor by far...but I love most of them. I eat these things about once every other day, which will probably get expensive. But they are SO worth it and are filling.

I ate a large serving of Ben and Jerry's ice cream while watching The Biggest Loser tonight.

HA! This is great...I love that movie. I actually love clowns...I think it's because my Grandma used to collect them. Never found them scary. My only real phobia is heights...if I am up high looking down or over a ledge or something I feel like I'm gonna pass out or throw up. It's awful. ETA: I also HATE the sound of…

Egg muffins! http://www.emilybites.com/2011/10/sausage-egg-cheese-hash-brown-cups.html They are amazing! And you can switch up the ingredients. I usually do ham, mushrooms and green peppers. A different idea...today I am making french toast for breakfast. 2 slices of bread dipped in an egg, an egg white, lowfat milk, and…

OMG...LOL! This is amazing!!   But to answer your question OP...I think that 1200 calories (even net) is too low. I would NEVER last eating that little. I did some research before starting on MFP after I realized I was eating too little (I was doing Weight Watchers.) I now eat between 1900-2200 cals a…

Depends how hungry you are for each meal. For me, I eat around 2000-2200 per day and I usually end up splitting it something like this: Bkfst: 300 cals Snack: 200 cals Lunch: 500 cals Snack: 200 cals Dinner: 500-600 cals Dessert/snack: (whatever's left) around 200-400. I thought about having a bigger breakfast around 500…

The link above is great and really does explain everything. Basically, TDEE is total daily energy expenditure - the total number of calories you burn daily, based on your activity level (it's an estimate, of course). BMR is your basal metabolic rate, the amount of calories your body burns just by being alive (without…

I know it can be frustrating...but men seem to be able to lose weight a lot easier than women sometimes. So while it may seem like he's "gorging" or eating/drinking a lot he may be consuming less than he did before. Try to be happy for him though! Just keep concentrating on you... Congrats on your weight loss so far too!…

I haven't cut out ANYTHING I enjoy...I just eat less of it, and make sure to eat a balanced diet. I make sure to get a good amount of fruits/veggies/whole grains every day and always have room for "treats". I never would have lasted if I had to cut out my favorite foods!

It really depends on a lot of different factors, activity level being one. I am 5'5'', 29 y/o, 138 pounds and maintain between 2200-2300 cals. I workout anywhere from 3-5 days per week...sometimes more.

I LOVE oatmeal...I have tons of variations. I always cook it with water. I am 29 y/o, 5'5'', 138 lbs and exercise 3-5 days a week burning between 300 and 600 cals during each workout (approximately - I do use a HRM). I am able to LOSE eating over 2000 calories. I am trying to find my maintenance number right now and find that I can still lose eating at 2200, which I thought was my TDEE. I can't…

I love making my own breakfast sandwiches in advance and popping them in the microwave. Make up some scrambled eggs (I use just the whites), cook up some turkey sausage patties, get some light cheese slices. Put it all together and voila! Wrap them in saran wrap and put in sandwich baggies and freeze. I take them out and…
