I started running almost a year ago and I absolutely love it! It was definitely hard at first...I could barely run 2 minutes straight without feeling like I was gonna die. But I built my endurance up and ran a 5k last Thanksgiving, then another in March of this year, did a 10K in April and just did my first half marathon…

Going out for Panera tonight so not cooking...but my lunch is crockpot buffalo chicken in lettuce wraps, toast w/peanut butter, and fruit. Random combination...but yummy!

50/25/25. I tried 40/30/30 for a while but was ALWAYS over in carbs...so 50% carbs works a lot better for me.

Anyone can feel free to add me! My diary is open to friends. :)

I forgot! Another favorite is pumpkin oatmeal. Just add 1/4 - 1/3 cup of canned pumpkin to your oatmeal with some pumpkin pie spice and sugar or a sug substitute. Heavenly! Especially in the fall.

I usually do PB and 1/2 of a mashed up banana. It is very filling! I saw a recipe for "funfetti oatmeal" today, I am going to try it tomorrow. It's instant oats cooked with milk, and when it's done you add a couple tablespoons of funfetti cake mix to it and mix. Sounds awesome because I love all things funfetti! :)

banana w/pb light string cheese + fruit cottage cheese greek yogurt - lots of great flavors (I sometimes add fresh fruit) carrot sticks w/hummus hard boiled egg whites Luna bars (the chocolate chip cookie dough protein one is SO good!)

I use Designer Whey french vanilla...1 scoop is 100 calories and 18 g of protein. It's very low in fat, sugar and carbs too. I like to make protein smoothies after workouts with frozen berries, almond milk and the powder. Very good!

I'm not about to slam anyone or get snippy but I am honestly curious. For those that eat 1200 a day and never eat exercise cals - aren't you HUNGRY? I eat anywhere from 1700-2100 calories a day (depending on exercise) and there are days I am still hungry eating that much... If you get hungry do you just ignore it? Or is…

I think it all depends WHAT kinds of carbs you are eating. I go over carbs sometimes (usually by 10-20) but I eat a lot of fruits and veggies and some have a lot of carbs (bananas, grapes, sweet potatoes, corn as examples). I don't see many fruits/veggies in your diary. I would also change your macros to aim for a little…

Light string cheese and a few grapes

50 grams of fiber a day sounds like A LOT...I'm thinking that has something to do with it.

Thank you so much for posting this! I went to the website to calculate my actual NET calorie burn. I have always wondered about that....of course my HRM tells me how many cals I burn during exercise, but that takes into account cals you would have ALREADY burnt not exercising, just by being alive. Makes so much sense!

Lasagna and salad...I'm on the hunt for a delicious lower fat lasagna recipe! Anyone have any ideas for me? :)

I do frozen strawberries, a frozen banana, 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, splash of water and a scoop of vanilla whey. It's DELICIOUS!

I have my calories set to 1600, and that is to lose .5/week (according to MFP). When I exercise I eat ATLEAST half of my calories burned from exercise, and sometimes all. It depends how hungry I am. I also make sure to net atleast 1200 - but about 98% of the time I am at about 1350 or above.

I find it really relaxing (especially running!), and I get to eat more!!
