I run the stairs in my house when I can't get to the gym. I also do mini circuits with burpees, mountain climbers, push-ups, etc. 30 Day Shred is fantastic and barely anything is needed to do it! Best of luck!

Spanx are a god-send!

I went from bartending in a super busy club to working behind a desk and commuting 4 hours a day. That explains the weight gain, and some of the reasons why it is taking me so long to lose it!

I am getting married in November. I am not really trying to lose weight for the wedding, because my dress looks fantastic as is, and covers all the right areas. However, I AM trying to lose weight for the honeymoon ;)

To feel comfortable in my own skin again

I am usually wearing make-up, only because I go right after work. Otherwise, I don't bother. I will be washing it off in the shower after my workout anyway. I'm not there to impress anyone.

The first two-three days are a write off for me. I don't go to work, I don't get out of bed, I don't eat because I throw up everything I consume. By day four, I have usually regained my strength (and ability to eat), and resume working out as normal.

You look SO good! Congrats!

When I go for long stretches without having fast food, I find the same thing happens to me. I had McDonald's a few weeks ago and it made me feel soooo sick for the rest of the day!

Right after work (about 5pm). And Saturday mornings. I commute almost 2 hours (each way) to work, so I'm already up at 5:45 without a morning workout. I workout near my office before I head home, because if I wait until I get home, I will be way too exhausted and make too many excuses!

I mixed in a scoop of protein powder with my oatmeal and it does wonders!

Kraft Sun-Died Tomato and Oregano (50 cals per Tbsp) or Raspberry Vinaigrette (30 cals per Tbsp). Or just plain old balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

I have definitely reduced the amount of bread that I eat, but I still eat some. In the morning, I'll usually have one slice of toast with natural peanut butter with my eggs. That being said, I have switched over to rye bread and haven't looked back. It doesn't have any sugar, which I find has helped me lose a few pounds.

When I do cardio, I try to always do intervals. It makes it less boring and "changes it up". So I'll do 1 minute at a moderate speed, and then 30 seconds at a very high speed (the time of the intervals can vary), and repeat. You can also change the resistance on whichever machine you're using (i.e. the elliptical).

It's a super old tradition that not many people really do anymore. We won't be having one, but my fiancé's friend had one, and it was super awkward to watch them open envelopes with cash in them. That being said, I think it would be rude to skip it without talking to the bride first. If you explain that Sunday is your only…

I successfully avoided to box of Cinnabons in the office kitchen until they were all gone!!

My coworkers are the same - always bringing in sweets to work (which are my downfall) and asking if I want any, even though they KNOW that I only allow myself a treat on Tuesday and Thursday evenings after a lengthy workout.

Best of luck to you! There are lots of supportive people on here who help you stay on track... it can be a very useful tool! Feel free to add me if you'd like!

I haven't lost any weight in 6 weeks, but I have lost several inches around my waist and hips. I weigh once a week, but I also measure once a week as well. Keep it up... once you build up some more lean mass, your body will become more efficient!

No need to be rude about it! I saw my error and fixed it accordingly.
-
Yeah I saw that after I posted, and can't manage to edit my post lol

EDIT: answered my own question!

10lbs! Hoping to drop one more!
-
HOLY S*@T! That's fantastic!! I'm super jealous, I wish my tummy would cooperate!
-
Feel free to add me - I don't have a whole lot of weight to lose... but I log on daily and am always available for support and good old kick in the pants ;)

Go see your Doctor!! I had enlarged lymph nodes in my neck and I was sent for an ultrasound. They also checked my collarbone and armpits and said that when they enlarge in those areas, it can be a sign of something more serious. Please don't wait on this... it may be nothing but you don't want to wait around to find out!

Rode my bike EVERYWHERE - but I also grew up on a farm so manual labour was part of the mix :P
-
I have been doing the same - and I have been using the same old excuses of being too busy, too tired, and too stressed to think about cooking. You just have to put it behind you, and do a better job today of monitoring your food intake and exercising! That's what I'm going to do!

When I reach my goal (another 11lbs), I want to do a boudoir photo shoot for my fiancé!
