I'm sorry I don't know enough regarding bulimia or eating disorders to offer any meaningful help or advice, but I just wanted to wish you (and anyone else going through similar experiences) the best of luck in your recoveries. Keep strong! :)

I've just started it yesterday. I've borrowed a room from a friend who runs a pub in town and organised a group ( no charge - I'm not making any profit from Insanity) of 7 to come and do the workouts together. Doing it as a group helps motivation :) Back on it again tonight, looking forward to it already!

Best comment on the whole thread!

I can't give a review just yet, as I'm only starting it tonight. Although if you look on Amazon and a few other review sites you'll see lots and lots of reviews. From what I've read, it's apparently very hard, very testing but also very effective.

I'm starting tonight, and actually really looking forward to it! :) Will post my results tomorrow

I'm starting Insanity tonight. Looking forward to it. I've hired a room above a local pub for the next 2 months, there's a big screen and 7 of us doing Insanity. Can't wait!

Thanks!

I had the exact same thought! haha!

Absolutely love this!

I'm not sure, and I'm not even sure I'd attempt to log it if you could. But (dependant on how it's done) it can be great exercise. How many dishes were you washing? lol.

I would have said the other way round, personally, for example if I regularly run a mile a day on the treadmill then I'd log it, so why only record anything else if it's not a regular thing? Lauren3101 ... I'm sat at my desk and the thought just popped into my head, I haven't just climbed off the bed and rushed to the…

My suggestion would be to make your burgers, chicken wings, ribs etc at home, then you know exactly what's in them and how they have been cooked. I make my own burgers, and they taste far nicer than any fast food place. My 'salt and pepper' chicken wings better than any Chinese place around where I live, and my ribs are…

Feel free to add. From Lancashire, may be at this for some time.

Ok... so I've just calculated that out of my weekly target (10,080) over the past 7 days I have a net calorie consumption of 10,165. Which makes me feel slightly better. And an average daily consumption of 1,452, which is slightly over the set target of 1,440. If I cut a pint of beer a week down, then I should be pretty…

Thank you! I'll try and do it that way. :)

Thanks for your replies. It's several hundred under on some days, and to be honest the only time I'm over is when I have a few drinks. I go out with the lads on a Thursday night, and consume a good 6, 7 maybe 8 pints. Which is over 1000 calories in itself. Not sure how to open up my diary so people can see it.

Hi-5 to you! :)

I may well challenge myself to attempt this. A female friend of mine did it earlier in the year and had good results. And it's something you can you daily in the comfort of your own home.

Thanks guys!

Lancashire. With no friends.

I think it should be, along with tasks such as mowing the lawn and washing the car etc (as long as you're scrubbing and not just stood with a hose). These things obviously aren't enough exercise on their on, in my opinion, however all the little things do add up :)

Hi! Not particularly new to the site, actually first signed up well over 12 months ago. Live in Lancashire, UK, recently joined Slimming World and increased the time spent at the gym. Started at 224lbs 3 weeks ago, currently on 217lbs next SW weigh in is on Weds. Fed up of being overweight and unfit!
