Honestly, I bought mine on Ebay. I went to our local botique to figure out exactly what style I wanted and to have them take my measurements. Then I went online to search for a knock off that was what I had liked in the store. I think I paid $150 for the dress, and another $150 for alterations (it was too long and had lace…

Add me to the Love IT category. We substitute it into any recipe that calls for rice. I also cook it and eat it plain as a side dish. We buy the pre-rinsed, but we always rinse it anyway just to be sure. Sam's club is the cheapest place I've found so far to buy it.

I bleed Maize and Blue. Hail to the Victors!

I hate to blame it on my parents, but I don't think I was really taught how to eat properly. From probably the 5th grade until high school my mother was a weight Watchers lecturer, and had purged our house of EVERYTHING remotely unhealthy. My father rebelled at this, and would volunteer to go on all the quick shopping…

I did weight watchers 10 years ago just before I got married, and lost over 75lbs. That was on their old program where you had to count points for fruits & veggies. Unfortunately I had some health problems, a child, and 10 years later the weight was all back plus some. My insurance company says I have to do Weight Watchers…

Done for today @4.22 miles of walking

I'm a newbie to the challenge, but since I've been walking for a while I'm going to set my goal at 80 miles.

Yep, It's a constant battle for me too. At my work it doesn't matter if you say "no thanks" or walk away. A piece of cake/doughnut/cookie will still somehow appear on your desk when you're not looking thanks to a co-worker just trying to be nice. I sometimes have to sneak into the break room after the party is over just to…

It's tough. 10 years ago I went through this journey the first time (I swear this is the last time), and I was on the road about half of the time. Luckily for me most of the time I was in Mexico, and since I hate most Mexican food I pretty much survived off of the nutrition bars that I packed and took with me and did just…

I have the Magic Bullet, and I LOVE it. It's great for making my smoothies, and goes through frozen fruit with no problem. I haven't even had problems with ice when I've tried it, but I don't usually add ice to my smoothies so that hasn't been often.

I feel your pain. Up until very recently I had 2 full time jobs, and a 6 year old. My husband has worked mostly an opposite shift from me for the last 7+ years, so time for myself was virtually unheard of. While I'm thrilled my husband's job changed, and the 2nd job went with it about a month ago, before that I found it…

Thanks. That looks like a great site. When I went through Weight Watchers the first time I always used Dotti's Weight Loss Zone: www.dwlz.com If you can't find what you are looking for on your site, that might be an alternative to check.

Thanks everyone. After I left there I completely had the urge to go buy a king sized candy bar and eat the whole thing. Luckily I resisted. I do plan to change doctors as soon as I can though!

I agree with some of the other posts. It won't keep me from going if I don't have the info, but I do tend to frequent places where I have been able to get the info and know there are healthy choices available (Subway, Applebees, etc.). A lot of times if I know where we are going ahead of time I will even look up the menu…
