  • My doctor told me that I was about to fall off of a cliff and my obesity related health problems were going to really start damaging me. Oh and speaking of being blunt, I just had a plastic surgeon tell me to "quit being a *kitten*" because I wear a band over a big painful scar on my arm. That actually made me laugh.
  • I think I saw this (Crystal Pepsi) in a store this week, I'm almost sure I did.
  • Dijonaise mustard and there was a Wishbone diet raspberry vinegrette I used to love.
  • My biggest uniform pants were so tight that I've had to work with them un buttoned under my un tucked shirt. I can now button them and zip them up without a fight. My belt has gone down a notch too!
  • Your story sounds identical to mine! I drive a delivery truck, have herniated discs in my neck and because of a recent injury (dog mauling) I have gained 45 lbs. quickly. I also am addicted to food and have beaten other issues with no problem, like cigs and pain meds. I have considered the surgery but my brother really had…
  • you look fantastic and I bet you feel even better!
  • ~The living dead. I saw night of the living dead at the drive in when I was a kid in 1968 or 69, and have had nightmares about them ever since. I think about them every day and always know the best place to run or hide wherever I go. ~Being the sole surviver at the end of mankind..but not being sure Im alone. ~Clowns..and…

  • Losing 40 pounds makes quite a difference no matter how big you start out. I remember when I lost 40 and my mom didnt seem to notice. She fought her weight her whole life. Mom became very ill and I think that she was focusing on herself, as she needed to, but it was a sting that she was the only person that never commented…
  • Wow, a lot of these had me actually laughing out loud!! I have had so many stupid injuries I cant even remember most of them. Im a package delivery driver and years ago I ran into a factory that had a garage type door to the shipping room. I lifted it, got my signature, turned to run out ( I had one more priority stop I…
  • I was supposed to be born on Leap Year Day but I was late..March 1
  • I have had dizzy issues myself and it has turned out to be vertigo caused by a virus. There were no other symptoms. It was all inner ear. There is an OTC medication you can buy called Meclazene that helps but if it continues I would see a doctor first. It could be anything from vertigo to a heart issue. Good luck, I hope…
  • A floss stick thingie..but the night is young!
  • last week I went into work and there was..a huge sheet cake half chocolate/ half vanilla, piles of bagels in every variety, tubs of cream cheese and donuts, all in the breakroom. My weakness is cream cheese mounded on asiago bagels..I walked away..When I came back in the evening..I had a tiny piece of cake..like a pat of…
  • I have ben experementing too and find that I love cider vinegar but not by itself (yet) I put some in a jar and add Kens lite Caeser, put the lid on and shake..it cuts the dressing and the vinegar is supposed to be really good for you.
  • Yo know, sometimes those frozen bags of steamer veggies are a lifesaver! In 5 minutes you have a big hot bag of yummy food for few calories. I prefer fresh but these really help me. I also cook a big pot of quiona and separate it into cup size servings..if Im really starving I microwave this then dump the veggies on top,…
  • Listen, I overate yesterday..I knew I would and I just considered it controlled chaos. I didnt hog down cakes and pies and breads but I did go over my calories and I have very high calories per day because of my job..however I dont work on weekends, so going over is extra damaging. I just looked at it like a planned cheat…
  • Im no expert but when I eat quinoa I notice that it is pretty calorie rich, but good for you. If its bland either spay fat free butter (ICBINB) or a splash of low cal salad dressing. Good luck!
  • It was terrible, as most zombie movies are..I told my husband- who is NOT a fan of this type of entertainment, its stupid, so impossible! He said so is TWD, I said, no that is pretty realistic as to how survival might be, Z Nation tried too hard and was ridiculous. For instance..there is an infant in a car seat, probably…
  • Yes, I feel your pain. I am on my 20th day of starting over. I was very sucessfull before and was sure that I had it under control -then my life went haywire. I hung on for a long time then just lost all control. I wont bore you with the details but my friends all say they dont know how I got through it all...anyway... So…

  • your shorts are getting longer! haha! thats so cool, good for you, I wear a uniform too and it can be brutal when they get tight!
  • I like this thread! Im 54 and just jumped back on the wagon after losing 65lbs then re-gaining it. I wont bore you with the details but I am finally coming out of the grieving process that threw me off track. Its nice to read stories similar to mine regarding weight loss.
  • I dont even have the words to say how happy I am for you!!! Congratulations!
  • I sice them into little discs and freeze on a baking pan, once theyre frozen solid I dump them into a ziplock bag. I do this with grapes too..grapes are super yummy frozen!
  • I always wonder about that too, especially with soup/ chili type stuff. I know you add it all up and divide into portions, but is that it? I often try too find the closest thing to it listed already but that doesnt feel right either.
  • OH! I just got one myself, I love it! I need to put it in front of a tv or something though, I have it in my unheated sun room and it gets boring looking at the back yard. I got mine on sale for &599. at Sears.
