My next (and first) half is May 3, in Indianapolis. I haven't trained properly, winter kicked my behind. I ended up with a lot of injuries from overtraining when we'd get breaks in the weather. I ran my long runs, except the 7 mile one, I did a run walk because I was nursing an injured achilles paratendon back to health. I…

I completed c25k in October and ran a 5k in October. I researched the various Bridge to 10k plans and decided that the One Hour Runner would be a good plan for me. I started the plan and ran a 10k on January 1. You can do it! A mile is a mile, no matter how fast or slow you run!

Yesterday's NSV, since it's now Thursday. This is really a life NSV. I ran 10 miles yesterday! I started running last August. I'm running a half marathon on May 3.

I have a little less than 20 to go to hit my goal.

This photo was posted to Facebook and I couldn't believe how bad I looked.

It was 51 weeks ago that this picture was taken, I WAS 45 years old. I'm a nurse and I had a practicum student, I went to her pinning ceremony and her mom posted this picture on Facebook. I could not believe how bad I looked. I was unhappy with my weight and appearance, and my next size up was plus size. This was my…

Hi, I'm 5"5' and I weigh 158 today. I wear little 8's and big 6's. Before I lost my mojo I was at 150 and ready to shop for size 4's. I'm back on track thankfully. I got back up to 162 and I looked like a busted can of biscuits in my jeans. They fit better now. I started last May at 198 lbs and size 14-16. I run so I'm…

Mine is huge, to me. I lost 49 pounds from May 2013-December 2013. I was wearing a size 6, ready for a 4, 12 pounds from my goal weight. The winter that would never end hit, I had issues with my lungs which kept me from running the months of January and February. I started slacking on my tracking, then my eating. I gained…

I liked the commercials with animals. The Doberhuahua, Bull (sexay thang), and the Budweiser puppy. The investment baby was greatly missed. Did I miss his commercial or was he not present?

My daughter loves the movie White Chicks and kept saying, "sing a Thousand Miles, please."

Great job, you're looking great!
-
Great work, you look so healthy.

You look awesome, I wouldn't know the face photos were the same person if you didn't tell me. I wish you much success in your running goals!

Im not at my goal weight yet, but I define myself as a success. I went from a size 16 to a size 6, I still have weight to lose, and some of my 6's are baggy. I look in the mirror and see fat. I see the tiny bulge where my loose skin is, or that tiny bit of bra bulge and think yuck. I tell myself that I need to be better to…

Congrats! Me too! My license also says 150, even when I was over 200. I'm now 151.

I've made some awesome friends I've lost almost 50 pounds, which I realize I did it, but with information I learned here I learned how to run properly and have gone from dying over running a mile to running a 10k the other day My life has changed for the better on several levels due to people and information on this site

I would exercise to get more calories, when I try to trim off of my other meals, I only get hungrier and make poor choices. I run as my main form of exercise and it is an appetite suppressant for me, which is another perk!

I've got about 12-13 more to lose. I'm 5'5" at 151+ and my goal is 139. I started at 198 on May 2, 2013. I run for exercise, I'm starting half marathon training soon. I've been dating someone and making terrible food choices, I haven't gained any weight, so I'm hopeful that getting back to nutritious eating will kick start…

I've been busy and neglecting these forums. I'm sorry! I'm on week 9 of 1 hour runner. I rand 49 minutes and 5.02 miles yesterday at an 11:26 pace. I'm slow, but hopeful that I'll be able to run my 10k on January 1 in under an hour. I'm not always posting, but I do read, and I thank you all for all the information you post.

That is fabulously awesome!

Congrats, I discovered that I loved running last summer. It's a life changer, I'm glad you've bought into it!

Bump up my calories to maintenance. I'm already living my dream.

I'm in the same boat. I can see my ribs, and my midsection is flat, then I have a big roll around my hips. I was told it's all the loose skin. I really need to start lifting, to help smooth it out.

Do you have anything after your run? I'm working on the one hour runner program and haven't had the rungries yet. Today's run will be 50 minutes of running. I usually have a scoop of GNC Wheybolic protein powder in a cup of unsweetened almond milk when I get home from my run. It curbs my appetite. It's 130 calories and 21…

I didn't read through all of the replies, but here is my take on the situation. You are dating a guy and have feelings for another, there is something missing in your relationship if you are interested in someone else. Also, the guy you are dating said he would move on if there was another guy, and there is but you're not…

Good job!

You guys look fabulous, congrats!

Yes, I called that one. He was attractive, well built, nicely in shape. We started talking, he talks about his kids. The perfect, excel at everything, never failed wonderful upper echelon of kidness. I'm like wow, you're a proud parent. Everything went back to his kids, except.... My fitness goals. I ran and had a protein…
