Oh man, I shouldn't have looked at this...now I'm just freakin' annoyed and in a bad mood. It's gonna be a sucky night at work - all cuz I looked at this! LMAO.

OMG! Glad I'm not the only one! I freakin' hate that! I don't drag them into plus size stores!

I have my day start at midnight. I work 3rd shift, usually 7p-7a shifts, and at midnight, I start logging for the next day. It helps me feel like I am staying on track better...if I were log something I ate at 3am for the previous day, I feel like I'd go over my calories, and I feel like I've 'blown it'. It's all really a…

I am down almost 12 pounds, and looking at me, I can't tell, but if I wear clothes that are not 'stretchy', I feel like I can tell a difference. For example, I can't tell when I am wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt (which is what I wear most days lounging around the house), but when I wear my scrubs at work, they have no…

Oh, and I must not forget...every day after school, I would go to my dad's body shop and my sisters and I got to go to the bakery down the street - I would get a cinnamon twist donut thing and CLEARLY CANADIAN! Ugh! I freakin' loved that stuff! They have a generic kind at Wal-Mart - nothing will EVER top CLEARLY CANADIAN!

Gum cigarettes that were coated in some sort of powder and then wrapped in paper. You could blow through them, and the powder would come out looking like smoke. Haha. That's actually not funny though, I hope they aren't around anymore. What a bad, bad idea! Garfield fruit snacks - but not like the regular gummy fruit…

Feel free to add me, I would ultimately love to lose 100lb! :)

There are 3 levels, you start at level 1, and she tells you to increase to level 2 when you are comfortable doing so. I'd assume around 10 days, you move up, therefore giving you 30 days at the end of the DVD. I just started it yesterday, so I don't know tons about it. It's a workout, but it feels good once you are done…

I used to drink Diet Pepsi like it was water. Since I have started MFP, I have decreased my consumption to 1 can per day at most. I don't drink diet pop over regular because I think it is healthier, or because it's less sugar, I drink it because I prefer the taste over regular pop. I don't think there is anything wrong…

I mix a packet of it with low fat cream cheese and a little Splenda. Really good on graham crackers...kinda like cheesecake! I have some Chocolate Almond cream cheese in my fridge as I type!

Congratulations! :) Keep up the good work!

It is a good article. The picture alone speaks for the whole article. I completely agree with it - I am on the opposite end of the spectrum from you, and feel as though people are labeling me 'lazy' and 'careless' because I am overweight. I feel they couldn't be more wrong. While I am not out physically excercising every…

All the women in my family are plagued with retaining water around that time of the month. To the point where we all have seen our doctors for it, and we all have a prescribed diuretic for when it gets bad. I have had as much as a 9# weight gain during my period. And yes, it does go away about 3-4 days into my period, but…

That is rough. I live alone, so I normally don't have this problem. But when I go home and see my family on my weekends off, it is hard to feel like I am keeping my calorie consumption in check. But I find that if I am honest with my food tracking, I do better than I think I do. You can have a piece of pizza, just don't…

Oh, nursing school...you gotta love it! I too, went into nursing school content with where I was at with my weight. A few years before I started nursing school, I had lost about 60lbs, and gained about 15 of it back. After nursing school, I had gained all 60 back. Seriously! It was ridiculous! I have been a nurse now for…

Hello! I just joined today, and I would ultimately like to lose 100 pounds, but my current goal is to lose 50, once I get there, I will set a new goal. Makes it seem more attainable if you do it in smaller increments! Feel free to add me as a friend, I need all the help I can get...we can motivate eachother! :)

I had to chuckle when I read this - I'll be happy anywhere below 200 as well...199 and I'll be freakin' ecstatic!
-
Good Luck to you! I am just starting out as well. I am setting my goals in small increments, they seem much more achievable that way!

I am in the same boat as you! A little moral support never hurt anyone! :)

Hi! I am new to MFP as well! I just started yesterday. I have a lot of weight to lose, and after looking through a lot of Before/After pictures on the message boards, I find myself inspired! I think when I feel like I want to stray from my healthier eating, I will have to go back and look at more of those pictures! Good…
