LMAO for a second I actually thought you switched outfits with him!!! You're too funny. But in all seriousness, I would have just given him a confused look and kept walking. I don't really get it. Is he saying he has a more womanly body than you? What was the point of that comment?

Look at that defined jaw line! Keep up the good work! :)

You are truly an inspiration. You look absolutely amazing. Good job!

Currently 145lbs, aiming for 130lbs, and then 120lbs. I got down to 130lbs a few months ago and then stress + sleep deprivation got me back up to 145lbs. Sigh. Here goes my second attempt! Wish me luck.

Unfortunately for me, it never got easier. It actually got more difficult. Which is how I ended up gaining back the weight I lost. I just couldn't do it anymore. Every meal was a struggle. I'd eat something high in protein and fibre, but I'd still be wanting that chocolate chip cookie or ice cream. It took so much energy…

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Starting right now, I will REALLY start over. REALLY. ARG. Somebody hold me to this. I am seriously out of control :(
-
LOL I love you <3

I also weigh everything I eat. My problem is that I can't control myself when I get to a certain point of hunger/craving. :(
-
How do you control yourself with portions? The more I exercise, the more I can't control myself because my cravings get intensified. Example, I burn 200 calories, I was going to eat one cookie, but then I end up eating 1,000 calories worth of food in addition to that one cookie. :(

I wish I could say that it goes away but so far for me, it hasn't. I'm so miserable trying to say no to all my favourite foods. And for me, having just one bite of something isn't satisfying enough for me to stop wanting it or to stop being hungry.

Running may not make you skinny, but it's good for your heart, muscles, and lungs... It sounds like that personal trainer just wanted to make money and didn't care about helping you. Technically you don't need to do any exercise to be thin. Never go back to that personal trainer!!

You're my inspiration!

I hate when people notice when I am saying no to high-calorie foods and they say things like, "What? Why do you need to worry about that?" I didn't get to this weight while NOT worrying about my calories! It's been such a challenge and struggle since I started on MFP to lose weight, and it's an everyday ongoing battle. I…

I usually end up eating more or eating high calorie foods around that time. I just can't control myself when it's that time of the month (which is now actually...). So I log it and will try to resist again the next day.

I know Doritos aren't good for hunger but I was craving them so I just caved. :(

I opened up my diary to be public now.

Yes, I am. I only burn around 150-200 calories thru exercise on my running days. BMR is 1,330 TDEE is 1,688 (activity level is sedentary...should I change that? I barely exercise...) calorie goal is 1,250 (MFP actually set it to 1210 but I increased it to 1250 because I was so hungry all the time). Sometimes I can net…

Look at those collarbones! Great loss!!
-
I'm 5'4, currently at 132lbs, highest weight probably around 145-150lbs. Goal weight is 125lbs. How do you know if you're small/med/large framed?
-
You look awesome!! I am also 5'4 and I started MFP when I was around 145lbs. My next C25K run day is tomorrow morning; I'll be doing W2D2! Your post is so inspiring! ^_^ Keep up the great work!

I got mine from Old Navy and it's pretty good! I think it was around $12.

I know what you mean. If I tell any of my coworkers/friends that I'm trying to live a healthier lifestyle, they would try and sabotage my attempts by saying things like, "omg, you don't need to lose weight!" or "have another piece of chocolate, it won't kill you!" Only my boyfriend and my parents know that I'm on MFP and…

Amazing progress!! Keep it up!

It makes sense that you'd weigh less after pooping since the poo would weigh something and it was inside you, and now it's not. This thread is just way too funny. But since we're on the topic of poo, I just pooed and now I feel so much better.

You've got a great head on those shoulders :)

With light to moderate activity (such as walking), your body will use your fat reserves for energy. For high intensity activity (such as running), your body will use the calories you just ate as energy.
-
That made me laugh way too hard.

Mine's not amazing, but we have very similar stats. I'm 5'4, started around 145lbs, and now I'm at around 138lbs. I say "around" because weight is not really a good indicator as it fluctuates depending on water retention and all that. Anyway, check out my blog for my pics: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/cleavagefurrow

I have a second job on weekends, usually for 6-8 hours per shift and I'm on my feet the whole time. For my 40-hr/wk job I'm at a desk all day. I have my level set at sedentary and then on the days I work my other job, I just add exercise. You can use something like this…

I've been addicted to black bean brownies lately. http://www.food.com/recipe/black-bean-brownies-gluten-free-255239 I use a modified version of this recipe with less sugar, and added peanut butter. It's sooo good and there's a ton of protein and fiber in there. Mmmmmm! I usually eat 2 eggs for lunch, though.
