  • Me! I've cut down my portions to small sizes now, and I've lost weight without any hardcore exercise. I mean, I walk at least 15 minutes every day (from bus stop to work and home), but aside from walking/standing, I haven't been doing anything else. Maybe 10 pushups every few days. When I exercise, I get REALLY hungry and…
  • You look great!
  • Because it tastes soooo goooood!! Mmmmmmmmm!! I loooove the taste of certain foods so much that I keep wanting more and more. :(
  • Wow, what a rude lady!! She makes vegetarians look bad. Shame on her. I try to reduce my consumption of meat for environmental reasons. The amount of energy and resources it takes to feed and raise a cow from birth until its death (to be made into beef) could have fed so many more people versus how many people the beef…
  • Oooh, great graphic to aid in the explanation!
  • Once every couple of weeks isn't too bad, and it's good that you're logging it. Everyone has those days.
  • MMMMMMMMM YES! I loooove oreos, so I have the oreo ones. I still want more after one pack but I only bring one pack at a time to work so I won't eat more.
  • I think my lowest at 5'4 was 120lbs, and that was back in high school. My current goal is 125lbs, current weight is 140, and I started around 145lbs. I have a huge appetite and I get intense cravings; so far this journey has been challenging.
  • I like Wendy's Apple Pecan Chicken Salad (570 calories for a full size). It's quite filling and it has nuts, some fruit, and protein (from the chicken and the cheese).
  • Where did you read that you should weigh daily? Source please!! I highly recommend weighing weekly, or less frequently. The scale isn't that good at telling you how much fat you've lost. Also, your net calories are VERY low. How come you're not eating enough calories to reach your calorie goal?
  • First off, don't weigh yourself every day. You'll get overly excited and overly discouraged way too easily. Weigh yourself once a week, and at the same time of day (e.g. every Wednesday morning at 8am after you pee and before breakfast). But don't use the scale as your only guide. Record you measurements and compare them…
  • Walking is most definitely an exercise. Anyone who thinks it's not an exercise needs to get off their high horse. It might not give you bulky muscles, but it definitely is an exercise. If your goal is to just lose fat, you don't even need to exercise if you eat below your calorie limit. Keep on walkin'!
  • Are you logging all your exercise? 1200 calories a day sounds like it's for someone who put their activity level as "sedentary." And if you have toddlers, I doubt you're sedentary! Make sure you log all your exercise so your calories per day can be adjusted. Even if you're just walking around, that burns calories!
  • I love looking at public diaries! But I keep mine closed. I feel if I made mine public, I would increase the chance that I would omit certain foods due to shame. I want to log everything I eat, even if it's bad, so I keep it private.
  • Currently I'm about 750 calories over my limit. And I haven't even had dinner. :( I've only started logging foods yesterday, so right now I'm logging foods just to get into the habit of it. I haven't gone grocery shopping or meal planning for weight-loss stuff yet. I plan on starting next week and actually staying within…
