  • Great job!
  • And forget the negative posts. You need postive or you wouldn't have posted. If you choose banding in the future as a TOOL then go for it. But I believe we can all DO THIS on our own. Hang in there. Get through this mess and betrayal you are experiencing and move forward. Better days lie ahead...
  • As someone who had the band - and 5 years later had it removed and am now doing mfp because a problem with the band almost cost me my life - please stick with this. or take a break and come back when you are ready. nothing, even the band, works if you are not ready. Good luck!
  • You look great!
  • Thank you! That makes perfect sense. I actually had a disagreement with someone arguing this point. She saw on the 'news' you are not to eat your exercise calories and I said not doing so would send you body into starvation. I always eat mine ... usually before I burn them ;)
  • Well to date... 8 weeks into this my body has definatley not adjusted. some days it's worse than others. literally somedays it seems 5 minutes after I finish 32 oz i'm in the bathroom - and i do drink it quickly and multiple throughout the day. Seems WAY worse right before my TOM too. Ugh.
  • I just have a question... I know people who are set at 1200. In your opinon is MFP setting people too low?? Come on now ... I am set for 1.5/week and at 216 pounds I'm only allowed 1320 - which I feel is super low. Because I'm a woman and apparently my body is all screwed up I lose 2, lose 2, lose 5, gain 2... that's my…
  • You are done an AMAZING job!!!! I'm starting close to where you did and can only HOPE to get where you are! Happy Birthday ... and you will get back on the wagon. Just keep looking at the pictures ... it works for me!
  • You look INCREDIBLE!! Congratulations!
  • My motivation was my 5 year old 'working out' to Just Dance 3 because she didn't want to get a 'big tummy'. And i think it just clicks when the time is right. I've never been one to stick to anything but something seems different about this. Granted I'm only on day 25 but I'm down 10 and haved logged in several times a day…
  • I'd love to cheer you on! Feel free to add me - I need it as well as I begin this journey of weight loss - the right way.
  • Fill me in... I have 70 pounds to lose (female age 38 5'4") to hit my goal and MFP gives me 1390 averaging 1.5 lbs loss a week. 1200 for someone maintaining doesn't sound unreasonable to me?? I'm expect them to drop me. So what is average for maintenance?
