Hang in there.....I too have been trying the low carb diet. I do great for about 2 or 3 weeks and then when I don't see a movement in the scale, I get discouraged. Just wanted to make a comment about not counting diet soda. I used to not count diet soda until I had to start watching my sodium, a large diet coke at McDonald's has 45 mg of sodium. Doesn't sound like much, but when limited to 1500 mg a day, it matters. I know as far as calories go, it, ok. Just saying....too much sodium…

I was on the same dosage of water pill. I recently went to the doctor and discussed my water retention. She wouldn't up my dosages, matter of fact she lowered it, due to bp being too low.
