Run! Run like the wind and never look back. He will not change.

Agree with everyone else. As a father, I would not want my daughter to be with a guy who cannot show any commitment or responsibility in his job.

My son didn't refill the Brita pitcher last night so today I didn't have any cold, filtered water.

Anyone participating in the Project 10 Challenge? I'm using it as motivation to break through the plateau I'm at.

Seriously, tell him to man up and read a cookbook. I do most of the cooking at our house, so I know men can cook. Not sure if he is not working at all or just on Fridays, but if is not working and you are, then he should always make dinner.

Come in from playing outside and take a big drink from your parents glass assuming the clear liquid is water and not gin.

Since it is cold, it took almost 3 MINUTES for the water in the shower to get hot. That is 3 minutes I will never get back.

200 channels and no shows I want to watch. Fridge and pantry full of food, but nothing we have sounds good.

Also looking for one that does not require one to have rhythm. That is my downfall on a lot of them.

50 mile bike ride, the LBS calls it The Resolution Ride. A little cold, wet, and windy but a fun ride anyway.

Exactly. And kids look for music their parents hate. I grew up listening to metal, so my 15yr old son loves rap. Do I think the lyrics are appropriate? Of course not. But if I am being honest, the lyrics to the songs I grew up with are just as bad (worse in some cases). And I feel confident that my son is not going to…

Those darn kids and that rock and roll! People are goofy. I understand wanting to control what younger kids listen to (and watch), but teenagers should be old enough to handle it. If you raised them right, then they will be ok.

As a kid, I would blame Pop Tarts, Ding Dongs, and ice cream. As an adult, I would blame pasta, tortilla chips, and ice cream. But in reality, I blame myself. Those foods didn't force themselves down my throat.

Just got my bike back in service so I want to mile it up. We are going to my sister's for Thanksgiving so I will miss a few days for that, but I figure I can still get at least 200 miles by the end of November.

Not OK in any way. It is NEVER ok for a man to push, hit, slap, or anything like that to a women, ever. It does not matter what she says or does. That is the way I was raised and the way I am raising my son. I am also making sure my daughters know that so if they ever do have a boyfriend/husband who treats them like that,…

I would not worry about 1 week. I got stuck at 213-214 for 2 months. What seemed to work for me was yo-yoing my calories for a while. 1 day I would be way over, next day right on, next day a little under, etc. That seemed to kick start the weight loss again for me, but your mileage my vary.
