That is Tabata but most classes usually only last about 20 minutes to 1/2 hour tops. I've heard average 300-400 calories with the normal 20 to 30 minutes so if you did an hour then 700 seems about right.

I've never been a runner but I did this program last year and it worked great. Of course then I stopped running and kind of lost my momentum. I think it is whatever works best for you. I weigh daily so that if I see my weight going up continually I can nip it in the bud before it gets out of control.

I tried that a few times and didn't like it at all. To much down time between exercises and it didn't read half of my moves. I had to keep skipping so when it was over it seemed I didn't do much. I'm in agreement with everyone else here. As long as there is no caffeine or high sugar any liquid is good. And it's also true that you really don't need the 8 glasses a day. Just make sure you stay hydrated when you need to!!
