I have tried the models without a chest strap just because I thought it would be a pain putting it on everyday for my workout and they just do not work very well. When I did get a chest strap model it made all the difference in the world. I paid $45 for mine.

Don't get down on yourself. The best of any of us will fall off the wagon now and then. My downfall is Pizza and yes I have downed 5 slices and fell off the wagon before. Just work your way back and make the changes you need to make. Keep logging in to MFP it helps. Good luck I know you can do it.

You said it sister! How about sitting on the equipment talking on a damn cell phone? Oh my all time favorite is when 1 person is using 3 pieces of equipment rotating their sets between the 3. If the gym is deserted this is not an issue but usually the gym is pretty full when I see this happen.

Try a pressure cooker. The electric ones are inexpensive and you can cook the beans in a fraction of the time. You can even set it up to cook them just before dinner with the delayed start up feature they have. Trust me on this it blows a slow cooker (Crockpot) away.

Nope, not me, I just log the gym stuff. Personally I am afraid that if I logged other activity I would end up with too high a calorie setting on MFP. I am one of those cases that does not need an excuse to consume more calories.

Stay srong and do what I did: List all the reasons you want to lose weight no matter how small and when you feel yourself getting weak look at this list and it will give you strength. Log into MFP everyday and complete your diary, I have no will power but this has proven to help. GOOD LUCK!
