I had this problem too at the beginning!! I fixed it by changing the settings of the sleep tracker from sensitive to normal xx

I absolutely love my fitbit!! I have had the Ultra model since August 2012. I have CFS and tracking my sleep means I know how much energy I have to use the next day, it helps me stay well. While sleeping, I wear the fitbit in a cloth wrist band on my non dominant arm and it measures large arm movements. It records them as…

I use TDEE of my goal weight. That's the same as maintenance at my goal weight. I like it because it creates a deficit and I don't need to recalculate as I lose weight. Two things that helped me get my head around things are: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12…

Stick with it, soon you'll grow to like water!! Your tastebuds need to be re-educated! xx

My son once dated a girl called Samantha Tickle - a fairly ordinary name. Her parents wanted to call her Tess, but didn't after a family member asked them to have a think about it!

Hi! This is why I exercise and eat back pretty much all the calories. Eating my exercise calories means I can have more food! Having more food motivates me to exercise for it. Exercise calories are the fuel that my body needs to do the exercise and build muscle mass. Eating my exercise calories will mean that I lose WEIGHT…

Hi! This is a lot of reading, but I found it very interesting http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 Kelly xx

I did WW online for two years and got bored with it, I had some success, losing a stone and a half but then I was kind of stuck around 13 stone for the next quite a few years. You know how it goes, lose a bit then gain a bit! I started on MFP in August 2012 and I have just recently hit 11 and a half stone!! I am soooooo…

Hi. Do you know what your BMR is? I would think you are probably not eating enough. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ I found this site very helpful. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 I found this very interesting Kelly xx

You logged the snack and you were under your calorie goal, so a successful day! For me, I want to be able to eat a little bit of whatever I fancy. If that means doing more exercise to earn the calories then that's ok with me, that way I won't feel deprived. xx

Thank you for a very interesting and well written piece. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. xx

I am eating 1636 AND my exercise calories. I have lost 12.6 lbs in 9 weeks. I'm pleased at the pace because I don't want to eat less and feel like I'm depriving myself. Add me if you want to. xx

I found this really useful http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 xx

I always thought it came from drinking half a fluid ounce of water per pound of body weight per day - so a 10 stone person (which is used as an average) weighs 140 lbs, so needs 70 fl oz per day which is roughly 8 x 8 oz glasses of water. They used the 8 x 8 oz because it's close enough and easier to remember than my first…

Have a look at this, I found it very useful! xx http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

I read your post and my first reaction was OMG, there is no way someone could lose 60 lbs in three and a half months. 2lb a week would be a loss of around 28 lbs. But of course your starting weight has an impact, the more you have to lose, the more you can lose each week. Another thought was that if you are exercising so…

This helps to explain why :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

I have a Fitbit Ultra, I love it!! I've never heard of BodyMedia Link so can't offer you a comparison. You can log all your stats on fitbit.com, although I do it on MFP simply because my iphone app allows me to scan the barcode of food items and so saves masses of time inputting data. I was not aware that there were…

I found this really helpful, I have lost an average of 2lbs a week using this advice. MFP predicted 1lb a week loss and gave me 1200 calories to eat. This information gives me 1453, so I have eaten more and lost more than predicted! xx http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

^^^^^ This made me lol!! xx
-
Eating your BMR plus the 1.2 increase is for you to maintain your current weight. You would need to eat 500 calories less each day to lose an average of 1 lb per week. xx

I wear padded shorts but the position of your seat is also important, I moved my saddle backwards (horizontally not tipped) and that made a massive difference. I have a road bike and standard 'blade' saddle! xx
-
I have eaten all my exercise calories for the last 5 weeks. MFP estimates me losing 1lb a week and I have lost 2lb a week!! I use the phone app - home screen - weekly tab to get a good visual of my average net calories for the week. I make sure it balances for the week rather than looking at each day. xx

What is your BF%? xx Not knowing your BF%, and using this http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 I would be eating 1598 calories a day and most exercise calories. I have been eating according to this advice and MFP estimates me a loss of 1lb per week and I have lost 10lbs…

My youngest son had to have a low sugar diet because when eating lots of sugar, he had quite a few ADHD symptoms that were not otherwise present. He was like a junkie looking for his next fix, and he suffered from 'gobby teenager syndrome' lol. After quite a few years with a restricted intake, it doesn't seem to affect him…

I did a lot of searching and fitbits that were cheaper, always came with a hefty postage charge. I got mine from fitbit.com and it arrived in a couple of days. xx

I'm also in Cheltenham, was pleased to find this Topic! xx

I too have recently committed to losing my baby weight, although my youngest 'baby' turned 19 in June!!! It's about time, is all I've got to say lol xx

I take vitamin B12 and n-acetyl l-carnitine supplements. I found out about them to help with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and I have far more energy than I did when not taking them! xx
