I LOVE roasted brussels... I like doing roasted beets to go with them, sometimes add in some chunks of carrot as well... try adding some onion in with it as well, gives it a little something... I usually roast some garlic on the side then add it AFTER everything has cooked...

I usually put 1-2 tbsp milled flax seed in my shake every morning.... Never had any issues and I have a VERY sensitive stomach...

Yeah I keep my heating pad on my back when I am sitting on the couch at night... I am ALWAYS cold if I am not moving around, thinking of an electric throw blanket soon since it is getting mighty chilly now :bigsmile:

I get in the mood for them every once in a blue moon... used to LOVE adding in a slice of ghost pepper to the water as it was heating up, then taking it out (i'm not crazy enough to actually eat it!) before adding the noodles and salt packet.. totally not healthy but sometimes it is darn good!!!

it is not going to happen overnight, you need to give your body time to adjust to everything that your doing sweetie... as a side note, your pee color is from the vitamins, no worries, your body is just filtering out what it does not need...

built like a 12 year old boy!! ALL jeans are baggy no matter what... I find that old navy is the most flattering on me, after holidays I need to head there to get new jeans, a few size 2 jeans so I can retire my size 4 ones that are just too big on me... :smile:

I personally do not carry a gun but have NO problem if other RESPONSIBLE people around me are... it is a matter of protection if you ask me... Hell I lve in jersey/pa, it is not such a good area anymore...

my resting heart rate is pretty low, 60-65... Now when I am doing Insanity or the Asylum each circuit will have my heart rate between 170-190... but it drops fast during the water breaks and stretches... :happy:

a guy that can cook healthy, and actually DOES cook is gaining soooooo many points in my book! I am more then happy to do dishes... I went from a relationship to where I did ALL the cooking to my current relationship where he wants to cook, or we cook TOGETHER... it is lovely

one of the MANY reasons why I refuse to step foot into a gym!! I'll get a MUCH better workout just by popping in one of my MANY dvd's!! I will pick from P90X2, Insanity, or the Asylum... Have Les Mills Combat coming this month :bigsmile:

just try to do as many of the moves as you can... I started out doing pushups on my knees, I worked up to it... These workouts are not meant for someone to find them easy, hell if that was the case they would not work right?! I started out doing p90x2, I LOVED that system... sometimes get hit with massive fatuige, but it is not all the time (thankfully)... I have MS so it kinda comes with the territory I guess... sometimes I can push through the fatuige and workout anyway but I know my limits... I am pretty proud to say that I have done insanity, the asylum, and p90x2... pre ordered les mills…

I go by what the HRM tells me that I burn.... even then I don't fully belileve it you know? it is afterall just a machine right? Only reason I am keeping track is for my own information... just simple "eating clean" and exercise... I don't much believe in diets, do not believe that they work for long term.... Just make a lifestyle change to make good choices.... yeah it is fine to have cake or cookies every now and then.. PERECTLY fine to have a not to healthy meal once in a while but keep it at a minimum...…

if your going to eat, have something small, let it sit i your stomach for about an hour before you workout ... otherwise depending on the workout if could try to come back up... no one like to "vurp" while working out... I do a lot of high impact stuff, I got in the habit of keeping a bucket by the table... just in case…

YUP, now that the weather is cool or FREEZING it is all about soup... I keep a few cans of campbells 100% nautral (lower sodium ones) at work... or if I have time I will make a big pot of soup and freeze containers of it for quick meals...

yup generic multi vitamin from target!!! but I agree, make sure that your eating enough veggies and fruit.. if you are able MAYBE see about getting some blood work done? I get mine done every few months to make sure my liver is not rejecting my MS meds, dr orders a full metabolic profile, says I am getting stabbed anyway…
