I use mine for almost everything I eat. Worth every penny

The type of carbs making up that 35g difference matters. It's not really that much over, but the source of the carbs could slow weight loss. Could it be solved by portion control? Maybe increasing your fat intake so you are full without the need for so many carbs?

It's not as "bad" but to your body it's the same substance. There are different types of sugar, but the fructose in fruit is the same fructose in chocolate.

I love them...helps me stay away from sushi. I cannot trust myself when I see that special rolls menu lol. I get the "organic" ones from whole foods simply because they don't have canola oil.

Track your overall carb intake instead of just sugar....if your sugar is only coming from fruit. I only pay attention to the sugar column if it's added sugar.

Count me in! Level 3 baby!

5'1" CW: 184 Pants: 12 Skirts: 10/12/L Tops: L/XL ....well.....that just depends on how big my boobs decide to be that day lol Every single pound I've lost this time has come from either my stomach or my thighs. Great...I know...not complaining, but I wish I could drop a cup size lol. However, past weight lost experience…

40DD and the only thing that works moderately well is to wear a bra, a sports bra, and a tight fitting camisole under a shirt. Back in the day when I danced, a leotard with a sports bra would do the trick!

I follow a low-carb diet, so I try to avoid limit my consumption of sugar...including sugar from fruits. That's not to say I don't eat fruit, but I would chose blueberries over a banana or an apple over a mango. When I do use banana, it's in my breakfast smoothie and is the major source of carbs for that meal. Since I know…

Don't waste your money. Nothing revolutionary or new. All the info can be found on here or other places online. If you want to know more about it, add me and we can talk.

^^this. While fruit has seriously great benefits, you can find the same great things in vegetables for fewer carbs. Eat your fruit, but if you're counting carbs swap a few servings for lower carb vegetables.

Sunflower seed butter is much closer to peanut butter than almond butter. Not that almond butter isn't delicious, but it's just not the same.

Dairy free whipped cream, add it to coffee or tea, make sauces creamy, add it to smoothies.

I definitely count my green tea as water! If it's just tea leaf infused water, it counts. The bottled, sugary stuff...not so much lol

Not quite. Sugar is sugar. Sugar from fruit may offer more nutritional benefits than candy, but it's still broken down the same way in your body leading to an increase in insulin.
-
If your goal is low carb, the fruit counts. If you're diet is mostly composed of carbs, the sugar from fruit is ok. I

Last year this time, I was eating ~1200 cals/day and spending 1.5hrs in the gym 4 days/week. Was I losing weight? You bet! Then I got sick in October. Then I got REALLY sick in November...this lasted until February. Needless to say, there was no gym time, but I was still eating 1200 cals. This continued until July. I lost…

It's caramel colored heaven in a jar. Whenever I'm using it, I have to quickly wash the spoon before I'm tempted to lick off any residual goodness. I keep it in the BACK of my pantry lol

First, fructose is worse than glucose in your body...just say no. Second, I don't use "sugar free" things typically but I try to keep my sugar intake low. I have liquid stevia; you're right about that aftertaste. But when I want to bake, I use either a less processed cane sugar, coconut sugar, or raw honey. I've found that…

this is a HUGE deal! Congrats :-) I was able to by pass the peach cobbler and banana pudding at my family reunion a few weeks ago. Grapes never tasted so sweet!

Green tea has great benefits. White tea even better. Of course when it's bottled and loaded with sugar all that goes out of the window lol.

It's not about what you're eating...it's about hormones! Hormones can tell a morbidly obese body to hold on to all that fat even though that person is no where near starving.
-
Yep it counts as water, but some of those ingredients can be pretty shady. Fresh fruit steeped in water can add great, natural flavor. I HATE lemon water, but oranges, limes, and raspberries taste pretty good.

Years ago my mom and sister followed Suzanne Somers' diet that advocates not eating carbs and fats together. I still haven't seen anything to back up the validity of claims like this. In fact, I would eat carbs with protein or fat so there wouldn't be such a spike in insulin.

I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 years. My weight didn't budge without hours of exercise everyday until I reduced my carb intake. I'm now grain free and eat around 50g carbs/day. High fat, low carb with a good amount of protein is working wonders.

The human's ability to enter a starvation mode is not a myth. You don't have to look like you're starving for your body to send out signals to tell your brain its not getting any more food. My 5'0, 250 sister has been in starvation mode for years but STILL won't eat anymore food. Why? Because she's not hungry. Her leptin…

Are you trying to maintain a low carb diet? If so, even the sugar from fruit is important to track. If not, enjoy your fruit :-)

Grass fed beef doesn't necessarily mean that the animal has only eaten grass all its life...only that it has eaten it at some point. The cow could still be given grains to be fattened before slaughter. On the other hand, grass finished beef means the cow has naturally grown to a point where it will naturally put on fat…

If vegetables are in season, I chose fresh. If they're out of season, I chose frozen as they're frozen at season's peak.
