30 for sure. I can put on a layer or two and be fine. There's only so much I can take off when it's 80. I'm fearing the summer weather with this new running thing! 50 or so seems to be about perfect! (:

I'd advise to make sure your form is good. Here's a decent picture: http://www.180kbellgym.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/4steps_running_180kbellgym.jpg I aim more for the balls of my feet, but mid or forefoot strikes are good. I'm a believer that with good form you're using your body's built in suspension system and you…

I think I'll be counting, or at least rough guesstimating. Hard to say for sure. I've always been like at least 60lbs overweight. Now I've lost 60lbs and have about 30 to go. A "maintenance mode" is hard for me to quite imagine. I suppose I might stop counting like I do now and just try to eat mostly sensibly and see what…

I'm south of you at the corner of I390 and I86.

I'm not exactly sure, but this bring up the same feeling I've been having lately. 5'9", 195lbs maybe 30%bf and around maybe 210lbs (started losing at a little over 250lbs) I started seeing more definition. It is SUCH a weird feeling from someone who is 37 and I NEVER remember being not fat. But... I think collar bone may…

I'd try bumping up your calories to like 2000 for a few weeks (ideally with some good protein like grilled chicken breast, lite tunafish, turkey, etc) and see if anything changes. If you're accurately logging, it seems like your calories are pretty low. Who knows though. Some people swear you can eat 500 calories a day and…

I'm 5'9", currently 206lbs. I'm a ride down from 255lbs early this year, heading to 165. About a month ago I started running. (was walking 2-3 miles per day before that). I think when I started I was doing 1800 calories a day, but it seemed like I was plateauing a bit and I upped it to 2000 calories. Seem to be keeping it…

You might want to check out fitbolt.com I have their Chrome extension installed and every half hour it pops up with an exercise or stretch to do. My only problem is not wanting other people in the office to know that I'm doing them. I somewhat have my own area so it's somewhat doable... (:

I just did a fair last weekend. It's definitely defining the parameters in my brain. I can just as easily binge on free food in the office. Right now I have signed up for 4 Dietbets and I just try to visualise "4", as in I need to lose 4% in 4 weeks(or else I lose money). And I have "1800" calories max for today. (I have…

I understand completely. It is NOT easy. I've got 2 little girls at home that suck up all my time and on a good night I just have to get up a few times to put a bink back in. My schedule generally looks something like: M-F: 5AM up-Try to get in 15 minutes of a workout. 6:30-head to work 7-Some days I'll stop at the park on…

What a great job you've done and continue to do! Someday I hope to catch up to you! (:

I have a bit of trouble getting everything correct as well because I have a lot linked... What *seems* to work for me is linking Fitbit with MFP. If you're only walking, I think I'd just let Fitbit track you and not log anything else. Other activities I think you'd want to log. I believe I have Endomondo linked to Fitbit…
