This is so funny I was on the treadmill today and I was sweating , not because off my work out but because I wanted to scream at the woman next to me to stop holding on :mad:

I eat vegetables every day and salads for lunch on week days but come no where near my fibre goals which is worrying as the recommendation is 38g per day for men.

its ok to eat below bmr if you are substantially overweight. OP should eat 1800 cals of clean food plus exercise (HIITS and weight training 4 times per week) and the weight will drop off

Doesn't sound right to me either - also the fat is far too low for salmon, which is a high fat fish. Compare to this http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=256980253. The walmart ones are probably injected full of water to make the weight up. These are also frozen fillets, not fresh

calories burned from lifting come form the "afterburn" over the next 36-48 hours whilst your muscles are repairing. The lifting activity itself is only about 300cals per hour, and if you're lifting heavy enough you should only be able to do 30-45 mins

always options low cal hot choc for me - 40 cals otherwise blue berries or danio yoghurt

If you're doing 60mins cardio several times a week on low calories, you are probably burning muscle rather than fat and hence lowering your metabolism = no fat loss. Do no more than 20 min max sessions of cardio, preferably do HIITS rather than steady state, and do more heavy lifting.

squats and deadlifts. If you cant feel your stomach muscles doing squats, the weight isnt heavy enough. Also bar bells are cheap to buy. Alternatively get some kettlebells

I have nothing because if I ate before a work out I would be sick. It's more important what you eat after that matters, i.e protein to replenish muscles and carb to cause an insulin spike to get the protein working properly.

count every single thing you put in your mouth otherwise you are cheating yourself and won't meet your goals. I even logged cress tonight which came in at 3 cals ! Some fruits eg apples and bananas are high in sugar, and need to be monitored if you're going low carb

do 20 mins HIITS on a treadmill 4 times per week - so 30-45 second flat out sprint, 45-60 seconds walking on incline of 13%, rinse and repeat for the 20 mins. Thats all the cardio you need to do.

I disagree - Alcohol stops the body burning fat, so should be completely avoided, otherwise you will just slow your progress. This is in addition to the empty calories, less optimal workouts and crap you eat when you have a drink.

To be honest low carb left me feeling exhausted and it was a struggle to get through the day. Rate of fat loss didn't increase. Also I lost a lot of muscle mass (noticeably), despite heavy lifting 4 times a week, which no doubt slowed my metabolism
