never heard of turkey jerky, but not a big fan or any jerky. Thanks for the ideas though!

^^ that, plus it puts it in "my topics" so you can easily find it again.

For loaves, I weigh the batter before I bake, so they come out within a gram or two each. then I weigh a loaf after baking, and make the entire loaf 1 serving. So, let's say my of is 1,269 grams. When I have a slice I weigh it and divide. Let's say my slice is 175 grams, 175/1,269= .138 of the recipe, so I would log .138…

Learn to sew, or find someone who can. The have them "take in" the jeans from the knee down so they are not so baggy. I do this, but start at the thigh for me. My waist is just to big for my legs :-P

If you are committed, yes, very obtainable. If you are physically able to exercise, or at least walk, yeppers, without a doubt!
-
I have seen recipes that mix it in with other items, like flour, panko or fiber one cereal. Have not tried it yet though.
-
I may be wrong, but I do not believe it will change on it's own or prompt you IF you used custom as I have. I have never seen it or noticed it changing on it's own, I do it myself every time I pass another 10 lbs.

I don't mind when people notice, but I hate the question :how much have you lost now", so I now answer, a lot! yes, I am ashamed of it IRL that I have lost 67 lbs and still have 44 to go. I hid my weight well and everyone thought I was 190-200, which I wasn't till last month!

I love Fuze slenderize, but they are pretty strong so I mix them with water, so I get 5 servings out of each bottle. They range from 10-20 calories per 18 oz bottle, so they are very low cal.

This is mostly desserts, but some are not. Most of her recipes have variations to be gluten free, but not all. http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com Just a note, her calorie counts are really off a lot of times, maybe brands? So I always enter my brands into MFP for accuracy.

Now that I look at it, not sure if it will motivate or demotivate, will give it a day or two and see if it ends up in the trash.

Love the paper chain idea. I am stealing this ( and FYI you can use strips of printer paper or loose leaf also)
-
Yes, right here. Go to food, recipes, add new recipe!

I just use my misto, which cuts down the consumption. I have found that 8 mississippi's equates to 1 teaspoon. I do not measure the remains if I do use tablespoons because I figure there are meat juices in there also, not just oil, so I would be underestimating.

I don't live in Canada, but just wanted to say, there is nothing special about her whey protein, and it is usually much more expensive then other brands, such as body fortress or six star.

Awesome job! So proud of you!

I just saw that half the links are no longer active on move you *kitten*. Some still work, but a lot don't.

Actually unsound, that is exactly what I was looking for. Money is very tight and if I can get similar results without spending money that would be great. I will def look into this book as part of my research.
-
I will def check out Chalean, I have heard of that but did not know it was weight training. Thanks so much!

I am already using weights up to 8 pounds as well as 30 ds, jumping jacks, pushups, etc, I have lost 3 sizes and over 66 pounds,. My question was clearly should I buy a cheap weight bench if that is all I can afford!
-
I said I can't get to a gym nor purchase $500 worth of equipment. I am well on my way of weight loss and will not be discouraged by you bad attitude, but thanks for nothing!

Thanks for the replies, and females out there with before/afters NOT from NROLFW?

HRM= Heart rate monitor. I have no idea how accurate wii fit estimates are, when I first started exercising I did just dance just sweat and they were high also. Also, are you adding these onto 1200 or a reasonable starting point?
-
technically yes, but where are you getting you exercise calories from? If from a HRM then ok, but the MFP estimates are awful, and I would recommend only eating half of the exercise calories if they are from MFP numbers.
-
enough said. BF % and mirror is what matters.
-
My question would be more "what other ingredients, sodium, etc" are in the bar vs the real food, and how processed is the bar? This will change so much from brand to brand.

The first is always the sweetest. Enjoy it and use it as motivation in your weak moments..Congrats!

When I make a soup for the first time, I will strain the soup into a large bowl and them measure it out into my measuring cups, then I weigh the solids. It does make one more dish but then I know how much each serving is forever, and I usually name it in more recipes, such as beef soup 68g/1 C for 68 grams solids to 1 cup…

I love baked oatmeal. I use chocolate-covered katie's recipe but edit it a little. Plus, I love her recipes except she adds extras and does not count them into her calorie count, and mine are always over a lot from hers. She'll say, 1-2 Tbs peanut butter, well, that is 100 calories right there. Anyway, here is how I make…
