Thanks for the reply. Ricketts is too far anyway!

thanks for the link, I did watch it and will check my grip next time.

I agree with the coffee/ tea. When I do a 500 calorie fast I made a huge vat of lemon iced tea, and I try to get through till dinner with food, but that does not always work. Best of luck with your chemo and prayers for a speedy recovery. My mom goes tomorrow for hers (no cancer though, she goes 4x a year) Make sure to…

It makes 12 servings, it is around 1/2 cup per serving when made, but like all slaw it shrinks in size as it sits.

I do this all the time, will work with almost any dry seasoning mixes too. Awesome to save calories and fat!

Are you near a walmart? I but Great value brand plain nonfat greek yogurt in the big 32oz container and 1 % cottage cheese in the 24 oz, around here they are $4 and $2.65. I boil a dozen eggs about every 4 days and toss the yokes, 17 cals per white and protein! Smoothies can be very filling, ATM I am drinking 1 cup almond…

Thanks for the replies, probably the best idea.

One of those tuna fish vacuum packs -- you can get a garden salad (no dressing) at the fast food place & mix in your tuna pack. Or I like to mix a relish pack right into the tuna bag and eat with wasa crackers. Fiber one bars are always in the car also.

sounds yummy. I sub greek plain yogurt for everything calling for mayo or sour cream. Sometimes you need to up the spices a little to compensate, or thin with almond milk if subbing for sour cream.

cabbage soup is always in the freezer. I go to sam's and buy 5 lbs ground turkey and brown it all. Then I portion it into the cooked equivalent of 12 oz (there are 3 of us) and freeze. I do the same with chicken breast, cut each breast into 1" rounds, bake 6 pounds with 3 different seasonings. Then I have my protein all…

I only eat 1%, and eat it plain, or spice it up with s & p, garlic, italian seasoning and use like ricotta, or spread onto ham slices and use on crackers or slick into celery. Or add to fruit. Use in pasta dishes too!

requests sent!

that is a good idea. I use a paper chain to track the weight I have lost. I add a link for every pound I lose.

peel it, slice it 1/2" thick. brush w/ olive oil and sprinkle w/ garlic powder. roast until tender, about 30-40 mins, then eat!

I used to be hooked on creamer and sugar myself. Now I do almond milk and sugar free flavored syrups. Brings it down to 15 calories a cup!

Out of all the places suggested only one has one in my size, and it is ugly :-(

Thanks for the ideas! Lane Bryant only has 2, neither are the one. The black one will make look huge due to bad proportions (sz 10 bottoms), and blue one..meh! Love the profile pic of change.com, none like that on the site anymore, just bikinis :-( Figleaf looks like it may do it though. Thanks so much!!! And to the one…

KMS, you have done so well, and I have been here with you for a while now. Please DO NOT listen to those telling you to slash your calories. If you are still exercising 5/6 days a week and cashiering your calories are about right. You know that is not the route for you. The fresh food is a good idea, and cut that sodium! I…

my families favorite, and yes, tonight also! This makes 4 servings: 3/4 to 1 lb ground sausage or links uncased and chopped small 10- 12 oz frozen spinach salt, pepper, garlic, any other spice you like 4 oz cream cheese 1 lb egg white product (or about a dozen egg whites) brown the sausage and place in 8x8 glass pan…

I get it while doing jumping jacks too. And I always tie my sneakers really tight, guess I will have to loosen them a little!

http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=125868 this link is awesome also! This is where I got my recipes :-)

I started low carbing again 2 days ago, check out my diary!

egg beaters three cheese (3-4 servings) as an omlette stuffed with a serving of frozen spinach mixed with a dash of salt, pepper, parmesan, garlic( if your odd like me) and a wedge of laughing cow or cream cheese. just over 200 cals and huge and yummy!
-
graham crackers I really cannot help you with, but egg whites can sub for egg beaters.
-
Not sure, I will have to pay attention to that next time.
-
I have used ener-g egg replacer for years. There is an online recipe to make your own but I have not had success with that. http://www.ener-g.com/egg-replacer.html there is a locator on the site to buy locally.

Thanks for all the ideas. So far I think the Chocolate Chip Meringue Cookies will be perfect for this occasion :-)

I am also from the slightly OCD camp :-/ I would weigh it with peel, and then weigh the "Trash" before throwing it out and minus that amount out. Also, most, but not all canned products include the packing liquids. So if a serving is 60 grams and you are just fishing out the "product" your counts will be way off!

That, or they eat 20 servings of a "Zero calorie" item such as oil spray or a condiment.

I have done taco, chili, and peppers, onion, and sauce instead of sausage. Not anymore though, hubby stopped hunting
