Mine used to say that I was 10 lbs lighter than I was. Now it says I'm 7 lbs heavier than I actually am.

It's usually recommended that if you only have a couple pounds to lose, TDEE-20% is a bit too extreme. The fact that your body is telling you that it's hungry is also an indicator that you should be eatin more. If I remember correctly, TDEE-10% is good if you only have a couple pounds to lose. Aim to lose half a pound a…

How do you find your top four "all time" foods? I can find the top four for each individual meal, but not the top four of all my meals combined.

Yes!! The sixty calorie pudding cups are awesome. I love to dip either strawberries or a banana in it. Or, you can stick it in the freezer for a little and it thickens up like ice cream. So good!

I've been doing this recently. It's only been a couple weeks so I can't tell you how it affected me in the long term, but so far I feel no different than when I was eating my exercise calories back on the same day. Some people may tell you that you need to eat at least your BMR everyday, but so far I've had success netting…

Four. Two "family cats" (Liona and Tigressa) own cat (Oliver) and a beta fish (Smaug) That my sister rescued from her teacher. We also have four foster kittens, but they arent't technically "ours" even though we love them like they are. What is your favorite color?

It will change your oatmeal eating life. It gives it so much flavor and good sweetness.

If you're not diet soda phobic, microwave it in diet soda/ juice. Seriously. It makes it nice and sweet and also adds flavor I have a couple differs versions that I go to. Diet Ginger Ale, with chopped, cooked apples, raisins, apple pie spice, and almonds Diet cranberry juice with craisins, chopped cooked apples, cashews,…

Beef jerky. You can even make your own pretty cheaply and control the salt content.

Yes, your body turns whole wheat into sugars. It does this with every carb source, because all carbs are made up of sugars Simple carbs like white bead, fruit, and granulated sugar are simple carbs, whose molecules are made up of only one or two sugr molecules. Because they are so small, they are broken down quickly. This…

I tried these, and added craisins, orange extract, and some cinnamon. Adding spices and flavoring really helps the flavor. I used rolled oats and they didn't seem to be soaking up the bananas moisture, so I put them in the microwave for about half a minute at half power (enough to get the banana warm and runny) and then…

I just checked and it is 45 bpm.

BMR stands for basal metabolic rate. That is the amount of calories your body burns in a day just keeping you alive. It is the amount if calories that you would burn if you were to lay on bed all day and not move at all. It's the energy needed to keep your body temperature stable, your heart pumping, your synapses firing.…

Weight before you cook. When you cook a food, you lose weight due to water loss. This water loss varies because people cook their foods to a different doneness, or have an oven the cooks differently, or cook it for a different amount of time (things like that). It's far more accurate to weigh raw items
-
You can cut it in half before hand or cook it whole, I prefer going through the extra difficultly of halving it before hand, because its easier to check for doneness that way. If you do chose to nuke it whole, make sure that you puncture it a couple times to allow steam to escape. Otherwise your spaghetti squash will…

So your preferred source of healthy fat isn't an avocado. So what? As long as you're getting enough healthy fats into your diet, it's okay to pass up the avocado in favor of blue berries. I love being able to eat a large quantity of food, so I completely understand your desire to eat a bunch of one food in place of a…

Yes. I once had the munchies really bad, and just needed something low cal to snack on, so I pulled two low cal items out of the fridge: celery and salsa. Omg, so good!

Yes, I love popcorn and ketchup too. Of course, I like ketchup with most everything. I also love popcorn and sriracha One of my most popular ways to prepare popcorn is to spray it with olive oil, and add LOTS of ground black pepper, smoked Spanish paprika, salt, onion powder, and powdered thyme. Yum!

Sugar free strawberry glaze. The "frankenfood" gel that glows an unnaturally bright red color and could probably pass for radioactive waste. But it's sooooo good, especially in Greek yogurt, and its only 10 calories for 2 tablespoons.

Yes! Make your own baked corn chips. The brand Mission tortillas makes some corn tortillas that are 40 calories per 6 inch tortilla (they're marketed as "thin tortillas") but even then most 6 inch corn tortillas are about 50-60 calories each. Preheat an oven to 375-400. If you have a convection setting, turn that on. Take…

Ah, thank you for reminding me. I like to measure my stuff on a scale, but I did measure out the squash in cups just to give people a reference. 100 grams of puréed squashes comes out very nicely to about 1/2 cup. This recipe will make roughly 3/4 cup, depending on how loose or thick you like your sauce.

That is a very good idea. I usually use baked and cubed squash because that's what I have on hand (my family will have squash as a side dish for dinner, but we never finish it all). However, the cubes develop a skin when baked, that although delicious, makes the sauce kinda chunky. Baking halves of squash and solves both…

I second the idea of preparing ahead of time. I love cooking, so in my free time I create meals and either freeze them to use later on, or store them in the fridge if I'm planning on using them in the next couple days. Things I make a lot are spaghetti squash, breakfast burritos and pita pizza.

Yes to both. Call me weird, but I like my syrup cold.

You wait. In agony. And then you celebrate Wednesdays like they're sacred.

Make your own! You can make a killer ranch dressing using fat free Greek yogurt and your own blend of spices and herbs. I usually put fresh dill, fresh parsley, dried basil, onion powder, garlic powder, a bit of paprika and ground black pepper, and occasionally some sriracha hot sauce. Then I add a bit of water to thin it…
