Good post! I am almost 2 weeks with poison ivy. I tried cortisone for the first week, then read that dermatologist don't recommend it, just calamine...so I've had pink arms all this week... helping a little, only gets really unbearable when out in the heat (and i'm running out of long sleeve SUMMER shirts to wear! I…

For those having never suffered from depression , it is a difficult thing to understand. Everyone here, like I am sure most friends and family in your life, would and will do whateve they can to help. You CAN do this. You ARE doing this -- job interviews, seeking a counselor - all steps in the right direction. All the…

Super Job -- you must feel as good as you look! And your smile tells all!

You are a beautiful young lady, and I hope as you continue to have success the HEALTHY, NATURAL way, you continue to share your story, and turn it into a charge AGAINST bariatric surgery. I know quite a few people who have had this surgery. One passed away at a young age, leaving 3 young children. One had 5 followup…

You are already on your way-- knowing this is a lifestyle and not a diet, knowing to cut food slowly - way to go! Here is what worked for me, as I've had a lot of the same issues: 1. Moderation on the "junk" -- I have 5 kids and we travel a lot with their activities - eating out is inevitible. If I can't get to a subway or…

I hear your pain! I have struggled with simiilar things -- here is a few of my successes: 1) A drink -- ok- I'm not a drinker by any means, but I found those nights where I am making supper in a frenzy with hungry kids, I nibble and munch too many calories. Finally I decided to grab a 5oz glass of wine (100) calories. It…

Way to go! I know what you mean on shopping in "normal stores", I can't wait to get there myself! Congratuilations, and buy a couple pair of size 12 - you deserve them! How fun!

Feel free to add me! I work full time and am mom to 5 busy kids! suppers can be anywhere from 5:30 - 8:00 in our house, and since I live "in the country", we have many "meals in the car, in the park, in the hockey arena". The biggest challenge is healthy, quick, and something the entire family will eat --- hard…

I'd go for 1/2 cup cottage cheese with 7 or 8 almonds -- the protien will help with the hunger - try to get a 30 minute walk in , and you should be fine! Or another smaller apple, with 1tbls peanut butter - that is filling too.
-
You are here - that is your first accomplishment! I too have struggled for 15 years with "an addiction to food", even in years where I was exercising, I'd make up for it by "treating myself' to nothing but junk. Everythingn everyone is saying is true -- the first day I logged a normal day, I about died at how much I was…
