Goal is 1250, but sometimes eat back exercise calories.

Every morning I have a cup of hot coffee with a tablespoon (15mL weighed) of Natural Bliss coffee creamer (various flavors, but still less than 5 ingredients). I've discovered that basic unsweetened coffee is an awesome addition to my smoothies. I've also developed a love of iced coffee. To make it guilt-free - and hit my…

I'm 5'5" and currently 167. I've lost 25lbs so far, and I'm still working at getting to right around 155. A few years ago, I dropped to 150 lbs and I didn't like how I looked at all. My hip bones were popping out, my face was gaunt. I will keep working to be healthy, STRONG, and comfortable. Forget the charts and do what…

I, too, am taking Tamoxifen after a bout with breast cancer two years ago. After the diagnosis and my courses of radiation, I overhauled my eating habits and began exercising. At my last visit with my oncologist, he commented how great I was looking, and to keep up the hard work since one of Tamoxifen's side effects is…

I'm an open book. Add me too.

I use Natural Bliss coffee creamer. Yes, it's got real sugar in it, but it also only has 4 ingredients - cream, milk, sugar and vanilla flavor. One tablespoon is 30 calories, and it's enough for my morning cup of coffee. If your coffee is important to you, don't skimp or try to tolerate some crap replacement. Enjoy!

In changing my eating behaviors, I just started adding veggies to everything I ate. Having a can of chili? Put half of it over a bowl of steamed broccoli, and keep the rest for another meal. Making pasta? Throw in your favorite veggies (squash, zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, etc) and it goes twice as far, and…

I set mine along the "Zone Diet" figures - 40 carb, 30 fat, 30 protein. I also dropped my sugar allowance to 33g/day; however, I am mainly focusing on "added" sugars, and not those naturally occurring in fruit & dairy. It's all about personal preference, how your body feels, and your activity level that should determine…

1.What was the turning point for you? It's ok if it was a series of events Like many, I have always battled my weight; however, the switch was flipped when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 40. Being told my diagnosis was likely "environmental" and not genetic, the only culprit could have been my weight and the food I…

My company planned a city-wide volunteer "walk" event benefitting the American Heart Association today... and of course it was cancelled 5 minutes prior due to rain. :frowning:

My honey & I like Optimum Nutrition - Platinum Hydro Whey Turbo Chocolate or Velocity Vanilla. It's super low in sugar, high in protein, and tastes great. Also easily blended. I add it to my iced coffee and use a blender bottle to shake it up.

Fage Plain - I like either 0% or 2%. Even with other plain yogurts, check the labels!! All you really need in yogurt is milk and bacteria - anything else is just a useless additive.

My new favorite is a "Peppermint Mocha" smoothie of my own creation -* 3 oz nonfat Greek yogurt * 6 oz cold brew unsweetened coffee (I use Stok) * 6g Benefiber * 6g PB Fit powder * Half or full serving of Platinum Hydro Whey Turbo Chocolate * 85g spinach * half a banana (which you can omit, or replace with other sweet…

Fresh produce (bell peppers, cucumbers, heirloom cherry tomatoes, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, brussel sprouts, green beans, spinach, and grapes), large FAGE plain Greek yogurt, frozen Normandy veggies, salmon, and occasionally Crunchmaster crackers, Swiss or Manchego cheese, and Boom Chicka Pop. Try to stick to…

I think if I were being as diligent and strict as you have been (for a year?!), with absolutely no change in weight or size, I would've had 100 cakes by now. Seriously, check with a doctor and see if there's something else going on.
