Lol, some might stare. But at the end of the day they'll be the one with the shin splints!

I think pasta is good in moderation, obviously its high in carbs so alot of it would be bad. But I dont think you should worry about having it in smaller amounts.

I wrestled in highschool and shin splints really hit our team hard because of the amount of running we did everyday. We found that if you take the time to run backwards ( i know sounds dumb, but it works! ) for about 10 minutes after each run it prevents the shin splints. If they get really bad though it'd be a good idea…

I love to run outdoors, I even do it when its winter and below freezing outside. The only problem you really have with running is if you over do it. Just take things nice and easy and enjoy the view. You really shouldnt run everyday because like you said its not good on your knees. But two or three times a week is really…

I'm sore and tired today, but I'll be at the gym after work. No pain no game right!?

That doesnt suprise me at all. Its just like anything else, if you have too much of it there are negative side effects. heck if you drink too much water you'll end up with hyponatremia and that would come well before you got 10 litres down in one day. It is amazing to see the extremes that people get too with junk food…

Did you take your measurements when you started? Your most likely just building muscle, so even though your weight is staying the same your actually losing fat.
-
Calorie = the amount of energy it takes to raise one kilogram of water one degree

Its figured up by how much of the food is Carbohydrate (4 cals) Protein (4 cals) or Fat (7 cal). I'm not sure if its measured in grams so I wont pretend to know that much. I think we learned the caloric values of carbs and such in junior high home ec class. Not sure why I remembered it

Make sure you incorporate a warm up and cool down period into your exercise and stretch once your warm and before you cool down. Otherwise you have a much higher risk of injuring yourself even if your in good shape. As far as being sore, its just a natural process in your body, when you lift your body will produce lactic…

Do a cycle of crunches and leg lifts. Start doing 50 of each and keep your form perfect. Alternate doing 20 (C) 20 (LL) 20 (C)20 (LL) 10 (C) 10 (LL) Break for a minute between each set to give your abs a short break. If you do it everyday until then it'll tone everything you want to tone.

Congratulations!! Keep goin strong and get your next goal, we're all proud of you!

Thats just part of being human, if your stuck around the house all day you eat to entertain yourself. I have the same problem, in fact its whats gotten me to the point I'm at now. I try to get out and so something outside if the weather is nice I'll take my dog to the park or go on a walk or even a joy ride if I have…

Its hard to guess without looking but I'm thinking maybe the 1400 for your body to function is for if you wanted to stay at your current weight. The lower amount is probly what its proposing if you want to meet your goal (Ex. Lose 1 pound a week).

If you increased your water intake along with the lifting and dieting you'll probably see a slight increase the first week especially if you werent drinking appropriate amounts before. Water isnt light but its essential if you want to lose that fat, I've heard that you should drink a gallon of water for every pound of fat…
