  • Generally speaking if the child had a positive home life they would not be bullying anyway. At that age agression towards others is a way to vent a deeper issue.
  • I understand that but likewise having your parent come in and talk to the teacher is embarrassing when the whole class see's it or if the girl came in and started telling everyone that your kids mommy had to come in and stick up for her because she couldnt do it herself. I'm not trying to say fighting is right or anything…
  • I agree 100% The problem I mentioned earlier when the kid threw me into the brick wall (which took place at a catholic school btw) he didnt stop bullying me until I finally snapped one day at recess a few weeks later and whooped his @$$.
  • I understand how that could work from an in class standpoint. But whats going to happen when the teacher isnt around? If this girl is picking on her daughter I'm sure she's picking on other kids too and at that age a bully is a scary thing. I'm not saying her daughter needs to seek a fight with this bully or even that…
  • When I was in the 5th grade I was being bullied by this kid and thats what my parents told me to do innitially. So the kid shoved me head first into a brick wall for ignoring him. So I really dont agree with that method...
  • That would be a great idea and good for bonding if you were both doing it at the same time. But I think everyone should at least take a self defence class.
  • Seriously, I think the only way to manage the situation if for your daughter to fight back. If she just takes it the girl will just keep doing it. My cousin had the same problem not to long ago (he's in the 3rd grade). The kid wouldnt quit hitting him and picking on him at recess and one day after school my uncle sat him…
  • Peanut Butter
  • Just do everything in your power to keep on track and keep your routine. The holidays are always a challenging time when your losing weight.
  • The whole situation is way too played out. Its like a tabloid article, they obviously have/had issues with their marriage and Jon with his personal behavior. They need to just let it be and move on.
  • Good for you and welcome back. It sounds like you have a great plan, just stick to t and if you feel like your gonna break start a thread about it. We'll help you stay motivated
  • I use my workout calories, one week I will eat back 80-90% and the next week I dont touch them. The most important thing if your going to start zig zagging calories is that you develop a plan that you'll stick with. So if your really hungry after workouts doing what I do wouldnt be a good fit because eventually you'll cave…
  • Its good with anything, drink away!
  • Is that connected with the false positive? The red cross banned me for the same reason 2 years ago and I've had blood work done regularly since then and they've never found anything. That worries me now.
  • Thats a really common question, basically zigzagging is just a predetermined adjustment in your caloric intake on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis. I for example exercise the same amount from week to week but one week I will eat back the exercise calories and one week I wont. You do this so that your body doesnt get used…
  • I've seen you pop in and out since I started on this site back in April, you are always sweet, caring and insightful. But more than anything else you get right back on this after you fall off and thats what matters. Motivation and all that aside I know you will get to where you want to be because you have the will to…
  • I do 90 minutes of cardio at least 5 days a week strength train monday wednesday and friday, do core workouts on tuesday and thursday and zigzag my calorie intake from week to week.
  • When you sleep your body slows everything down, your heart beats slower, your breathing slows and since those systems slow it slows the function of the rest of your body including your digestive track. So napping right after eating means that your body is not digesting the food in the most efficient manner. So in my humble…
  • I'm within 20 and its getting really hard to lose it now.
  • I remember watching these videos in highschool about people that were Immune to HIV because their cells lacked certain receptors so the HIV protiens couldnt bind to the cell. I guess if they had a vaccine that killed those receptors then theoretically you could immunize yourself against it but thats not really plausible.…
  • There's an HIV vaccine????????
  • I do at least 90 minutes of cardio every day (except sunday some weeks) and strength train monday wednesday and friday (mostly upper body) and core workouts on tuesday and thursday.
  • Eat a banana right after your workout. I think you'll like the effects.
  • You must have had some bad experiances with men in your life and I'm sorry you think that way about men now but I can assure you I think with my mind and my heart before my anatomy.
  • I used to be the same way, being a guy we just think about that kind of stuff differently. Like "its just a picture its not like I'm sleeping with someone" or "I'm just looking at a picture, its not going to hurt anyone". You need to just reinforce in his mind how it makes you feel and let him know that it hurts your self…
  • Is this something he's had problems with before?
  • I would watch drinking that much water everyday unless your workout hardcore everyday. You need to be pumping gatorade or something to replenish your electrolite levels. You dont want to end up with Hyponatremia.
  • Welcome, good luck
  • I weigh myself every sunday, but its really just a matter of personal preferance. Shouldnt me more than once a week though.
