  • There's this easy ab exercise that i read about a while ago that i do from time to time. Just flex your abs for a minute and then take a 30 second break, and repeat. It really burns after a while and it keeps you from feeling like you waisted your entire day at your desk.
  • Great job on taking the first step! 50 pounds might seem like alot from where your standing now, but if you stay in your allotted calories and exercise to meet your goals that weight will be off in no time and you'll feel great! I started out with 60 to lose and just hit my half way point. It can be done and you have the…

  • Everytime I get discouraged I look at pictures of myself before I started losing weight. That usually gives me the motivation I need to get my butt out and work up a sweat.

  • Depends on if you want to track beats per minute or thrusts
  • Yeah if your keeping track of the exact time it may just prove to be depressing :grumble:
  • That was one of the first cardio exercises I looked for. It should definetly be listed, but I think it will be hard to gauge the calories burned without an HRM involved.
  • Milk is really nutrient dense so if you substitute milk for loss nutirent dense drink (diet pop). It'll benefit you alot more, I'm not sure of its effects on weightloss but it'll improve your overall health if you drink that in place of some of those other drinks.

  • I usually go out once a month and just eat until I'm full. I just eat slow and drink alot of water and I fill up faster But I'll usually go pretty well over on that day but then I'll follow that up with hard workouts and staying well within my allotted calories for the rest of the week. its worked so far and I've lost an…

  • "Or, (and I think this is the most likely) he wasn't thinking! Sometimes people say stupid things. You are doing great, please don't take his comment to heart. Don't give it more thought - he made a mistake, and you are shrinking! " Thats most likely the answer, as men we arent always the greatest at thinking before we…
  • Say you start working out and your max bench is 1 rep of 130lbs, so for low weight high reps you might do 12 reps of 80lbs. So when you get stronger your max bench goes up to 1 rep of 180, so for you low weight high rep you do 12 reps of 120lbs. So your still doing "low weight" as compared to your max
  • Bench press (low weight, high reps) or push ups with push up bar. Helped me alot, hope it helps you. no body likes Moobs
  • Just eat what you want until its healed, keep moderation in mind and dont binge but dont worry about a few grams of fat and protein here and there. This is a lifestyle change not a strict diet plan so dont sweat it.
  • you could walk to the end of the block and back and then log it and it'll get rid of those calories
  • that sounds great, having that little goal to meet every week should help the long term goal.
  • Hey you should jump in on the labor day challenge, it'll be great modivation and even if you dont cut all the weight I'm sure you'll take a big chunk out of it.
  • Hey you should incorporate a weekly goal (run 4 miles..ect). Just to make things more fun
