ingalynn May week 2 PW: 205.5 CW 206.4 +.9 So I'm up again this week. Not really sure how, but I got some good exercise in and I'm happy about that. I also wore jeans last night that I haven't worn in a long time, so I know I am losing inches. Hopefully, I am just holding water.

Today is my weigh in day, and I'm pleased to say that I did pretty well. I haven't introduced myself yet, but I am a married mother of two college students. Over the past year due to stress eating from a family illness, I gained about 20 pounds!! So MFP is helping me get back to there, and then hopefully another 30 pounds.…

I never understand why people get offended so easily. It's one thing when a person means harm, but otherwise, it's just silly. Say thank you, or laugh and say "not lucky, just dedicated", and then move on.

i had been running for several months and had been planning my 1st 5k when the hip pain began. Went to the doctor. he said it was bursitis, which is inflammation in the bursa sac of the joint. Haven't gotten myself running again, but have been bicycling at the gym and using the equipment there. After several failed…

Truly, I usually give in. I guess you might even call it a binge. I might go 1000-2000 cal over goal. But after that, I get back on track. Without being graphic, as a woman this happens about once a month. I come to expect that insatiable day, and chalk it up to the idea that my body needs the extra calories at that time.…

I have to say, I used to think that until I joined MFP. After I had both my kids at age 28 and 30 I trimmed down pretty quickly. Lost all of the pregnancy weight within a couple months (and I had gained 45 lbs with each pregnancy). Then I got hurt, and was having stress related issues and the lbs started adding up. I ended…

My name is Eileen, and I get the dumb old joke all the time: What do you call a one legged girl? "Eileen" (I lean) Well, as of today I have lost an average human leg! hahaha! So that joke is a little funnier to me today.

CW 169.8 Loss this week 1.7! Yaay! finally in the 160's! I truly never thought to see numbers like this again. Only 19 lbs to goal!:drinker:

I don't know about the knees, but I have sciatica as well. the chiropractor recommended stretches to ease it. Sitting in a chair, cross one leg over the other and lean into it. Hold for 10 seconds, repeat 5 times (each leg) Lying on your back, knees up, cross one leg over the other. Press on your knee to stretch the inner…

I peeked in the mirror as I was pulling on my pants and could see the definition in my legs! Getting to the gym is really paying off!

CW 171.5 down 1.8 this week :)

It also makes a difference if the calories are entered for meat pre-cooked or post cooked. 3 oz of pre-cooked will show less calories than 3 oz of cooked meat because of the water lost during cooking.
