Dallas is home. I hate the midwest. I hope to move back to Texas next year!

Hi Teresa. Welcome aboard! Like many of us, our health is our motivation for fitness. Not modeling or walking along the beach. For myself, I have 4 boys and didn't want them to watch me have a stroke or heart attack in my 30's. Every time I didn't feel like waking up and walking, or hitting the gym after measuring my…

Good luck! U can still eat healthy. Try aquafit aerobics. Low impact. Should be ok on knees with doctor's clearance. Great total body workout!

Thin doesn't mean you are healthy. Most skinny people are just the opposite! They may like what they see in the mirror today, but it takes a toll on your body by not giving your muscles and bones the calories they NEED. Giving yourself a due date gives you time to set check points along the way. If you don't meet this week's goal, then you know how much work you need to put in next week! HTH E

If MFP suggests you eat 3,000 calories a day, then break that down to 6 - 500 calories meals per day. If you subtract a total…

Hunger is a signal from my brain, not your stomach. It sounds like you aren't getting enough calories in each meal. MFP is just a guideline. It doesn't take in to account that you may be an Endormorph, have Thyroid issues, etc. When i was 300 lbs I barely at 1500 calories a day and I was always hungry. When I lost 100 lbs,…

We all can use support. I lost 100 lbs in 5 months and it took plenty of support. I now run a non-profit nutrition/fitness company to help others help themselves!
