I have been doing the C25K pretty regular, but on a treadmill since it is too cold to go outside. Have been doing 5k in about 36 minutes, with the first 5 being a warm up walk. Wanting to get to 30 minutes, when all is said and done. Willbe doing this challenge on a treadmill inside, but hope to do a real outside one in…

Slow progress, but still progress. Looking to break into the 140's in March, and keep training for a 5k in March. Until I can control my eating habits a little more I will not be rewarding myself with anything but a new pair of running shoes.

Looking at buying a nice pair of jeans when I reach my goal. Otherwise I usually have mini goals and treat myself to a little indulgence.

The run walk intervals are what the C25K have me doing. Definitely feel it working.

Also due to cold weather I have been hitting the treadmill. I have started the C25K program. Starting week 3 this week and do feel stronger now. Have moved up the incline to 5 and running at 5.7. Definitely need to improve as my first official outside 5K will be in May when hopefully it is warmer here. Goal for St. Pattys…

My routine is a little different than most of yours. In the morning I get the kids up and ready, and off to school and daycare. I work full time plus quite a bit of overtime. Then in the evenings I run my kids to Scouts, check homework, piano, guitar, basketball, dance and whatever other activity is going on. I have found…

There is a group going now for the 30DS. I have never made it through the video, and this is my third attempt. Having the group though definitely has ket my motivation going. Best of luck in your journey!

Feel free to add me. I am a 35 y/o mom of three beautiful children who are 10, 8 and 4. My husband and I both work full time plus at our jobs. My kids are starting to get very active with Cub Scouts, basketball, dance, baseball, guitar, sax, piano, and just school. Feel like I am constantly running and some days just get…

I agree as the weight comes off it will come off in the stomach area. I know that is the last place mine comes off, but cardio combined with some weights will go a long way.

Thanks everyone. I logged my day, and niw looking back there were some "triggers" that caused the excess eating. Going to makes notes so when I come up against it in the future I will be ready!

Can't wait to get some of these ingredients and start sampling this weekend.

This sounds extremely yummy. I am guessing my husband and kids will not eat, but I guess then there will be more for me. Would you suggest adding a little garlic to this?

I have never bought Quinoa. Where is the best place to buy it in the Midwest?
-
I have heard of brownies with black beans being good, so this might be one to try making without my family seeing what is going into it.

Sounds like a lot of great ideas. I know in the summer we love to marinade chicken and throw if on the grill for easy evening meals.

Never tried quinoa but after reading recipes may have to buy some and give it a whirl.

Put a layer of Angel food cake cut into cubes in the bottom of a triffle bowl. top with a layer of vanilla or lemon yogurt, then a layer of strawberries, blueberries and blackberries, repeat until container full.

This is something I will have to try. I have been losing fine, but I am just waiting for the plateau to come..

I think it would be good with some romaine, spinach, grilled chickem, strawberries and maybe a little almonds for crunch.
-
Sounds like an esy recipe. Will have to try this weekend, and like you said maybe add a little more veggies.
