To the best of my knowledge, there is absolutely no way to control this. Sorry.

Give it time, I agree with the idea of doing run/walk intervals. I actually just signed up for a HM yesterday and thought I might try to use that same plan this time. I'm starting on week two though, I only have 10 1/2 weeks until the race.

I'm 5'3" Pro: I get a calf workout anytime I kiss my 6'2" boyfriend I can hide in small spaces I can wear any heels I want without towering over people Con: Low calories on MFP I can't reach top shelves I can't see anything in a crowd The back hem of my jeans frequently frays

I didn't hate these books but they by no means deserve to sell so well. They're poorly written, I read today that Ana said, "Jeez" 72 times. They're also Twilight Fan Fiction, so they're basically Twilight with sex and not vampires. Unfortunately, they are a fad and people read them just to see what the fuss is about.…

I don't understand why people are surprised that a company who is not open on Sundays is against same sex marriage. I'm not going there today because I don't want to fight the huge crowds that they're showing on the news. I don't have a problem with same sex marriage and I don't have a problem with Chick-fil-A.

An interesting article from Runners World, it's somewhat applicable. http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-242-304-311-8402-0,00.html

Agreed, and I hope his success really makes Craig James angry. I'm also interested to see what RichRod can do with Arizona, I hope he's very succesful.

This is a good question, I have P90X and I'm considering doing another half in October. I'm being kinda wishy-washy on which I really want to do. There is no way I can completely do both programs simultaneously. I'm not spending 2+ hours every night working out. I was thinking about doing 2-3 days of P90X strength training…

^This All I have at home is P90X, so I use that. I havent' actually followed the program yet but I'll pop in the Plyo or Kenpo videos if I need to get a workout in and it's too hot to run outside, which is often. I would LOVE to run in the rain at this point because that would mean it is actually raining for once. I used…

Don't get excited and start out at a pace you can't sustain. Also, if you're running slowly don't bunch up towards the start line before the gun. Faster people start first, slower people towards the back and walkers should be last. Congrats!

Get fitness videos, if you don't want to buy any your local library probably has some. Netflix also carries a bunch of them.

This is helpful for me too, we're almost exactly the same size (you're a shade taller). I knew 600 was too high for me to put for any of them but I didn't really know what to use either. I was using "high impact aerobics".

Normally, I would absolutely no-freaking-way but your brother sounds like like a horrible person. He doesn't see his child and doesn't pay child support, what a winner. I think these non-actions void his opinion. Tread with caution though, you could end up on Jerry Springer.

You have bad runs so you're able to know when you have good runs.

Screw the NFL The Ohio State University Buckeyes just in case you can't tell from my photo and ticker.

I know a ton of people have said this but unleashed pets! I got bit by a dog when I was running one time, granted it was a Chihuahua but it still hurt. I also hate when people bring strollers to use during a race when the race entry clearly states NO STROLLERS. Then the procede to start in the middle of the pack, seriously…

On weekends this time a year I spend a lot of time working in concession trailers (at county fairs and such), I log that time under cooking. I usually scale back the time like if I spend 6 hours working, I'll enter 4 or so. I don't count it if we're not busy and I sit a lot. It really adds up the calories, as it should,…

I did the Warrior Dash in June and a local mud run two weeks ago. I think they're a blast. The Warrior Dash was the easier of the two that I did. Be prepared to run hills and as for upper body strength, you need some but not a ton. Basically, if you can climb a ladder, you'll be fine with the cargo nets and wall climbs.…

My gym sits between an ice cream store and a bar, specifically the patio to the bar.

I eat fast, I think it's because I grew up with brothers. In my house, it was eat fast or don't eat. My boyfriend is unbelieveably slow at eating, even his friends and relatives make jokes about how slow he is. We eat dinner and I'm done and have the kitchen clean by the time he finishes.

Wow, can I meet you guys for lunch? I would go with soup (depending on what it is) or salad then the salmon and cheesecake. I just ate lunch and I think I'm hungry again now. I love special fixed price menus, my city is doing it all week next week. They have 40-50 restaurants that participate in "Restaurant Week" including…

Coolhandsluke- No, that is indeed cool.

I run, although not quickly. I've done 2 1/2 marathons and I just did a mud run on Saturday. I could use friends too, feel free to add me.

I'm in the 1200 range and in need of friends too. I find that if I don't work out, I sometimes have a hard time staying under that but I usually don't go over 1400. Ideally, I'd like to lose about 15 lbs, I don't think I'm built to be much less than that. Also, I'm 5'3".
