Reading through the group posts is helpful too. There is a different post for each stage of NRLFW.

Yes, it all counts.

I'm in the middle of Stage 2 at the moment. I have problems waiting for the squat rack too but since it's always the first exercise, I'm not really in the middle of my workout while I'm waiting for it.

I would say don't spend much time worrying about it. Do what you can to make good choices but don't agonize over it. You're in China to experience something new and part of that experience is food. Embrace it, if you gain 5 lbs, so what? Enjoy your time there and make the most of it. I did two semesters abroad in college,…

Hello Stage 2ers! I have my first Stage 2, Workout B tonight. I'm kind of looking forward to it but kinda nervous because I'm awfully sore from the A workout still. I'm anxious to try some of these moves that people keep talking about namely the Cuban snatch.

First post here but I'm almost done with Stage 1. Starting my first workout with 8 reps tonight. I'll try to remember to post results at the end of next week with I finish it up!

I'm going as Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games

I'm running my 3rd half in about a month. Good luck!

Yep, this 100% Go Buckeyes!

I would run nothing more than 2 easy miles tomorrow. Just enough to get the muscles stretched and heart pumping a little. As for today, no speed work or long runs but other than whatever you normally do. Tips: Don't start out too fast. Don't try to "carb-load" tomorrow night, you'll probably end up regretting it and for 3…

They are to Vitamin A what bananas are to potassium.

I hate them, I hate them buttered, sugared and covered in marshmallow. I want to like them but I don't. I was at a baby shower recently and had to do a blind taste test of baby foods and knew immediately which one was sweet potato becaue it was so terrible. The only tolerable form I've found is Alexia Chipotle Sweet Potato…

I've done all of those things, I could have 3 of the 4 done in the next 5 minutes and I'm running my 3rd half marathon in October. I would agree with doing an unassisted pullup, I definitely can't do one of those. I would also put running a full marathon (preferably NYC) onto my personal bucket list.

I'm going to say football season

The Great Gatsby Wuthering Heights Gone With The Wind In Cold Blood Jane Eyre To Kill A Mockingbird A couple of those are not as classic as the others.

Don't overindulge in the Natty Light and in the all-you-can eat dining rooms.

I'm 5'3" and 150 and I could use some friends! I've lost about 10 lbs since joining MFP but I'm afraid my weight loss is going to slow to a snail's pace.

If it's really hot outside then I run indoors, I don't own a water carrying device for running and I probably never will. I take my key off my keyring and loop it around a finger and carry it. I've trained for half marathons before and never felt like I needed one but it's really personal preference.

So you let the other earphone bounce around? To each their own, I can't stand wearing them outside but if it works then more power to you.

I agree with whoever said The Night Circus Also, The Devil in the White City although wikipedia says that Leonardo DiCaprio owns the movie rights to it.

I like the races themselves, it's the training that gets me sometimes. I'm doing my third half in October. I usually cut the lifting down while training, I don't lift legs heavy at all but will try to do plyo or cycling on a cross training day. I'll do one day of upper body and try to do one day of yoga in there…

On my usual path through the neighborhood, I don't carry pepper spray. There is a lot of people around walking dogs, pushing strollers etc so I'm not worried there. If I venture to an unknown park or path, I do take my pepper spray. While running, I've been bitten by a dog (granted, a Chihuahua) but if a bigger dog/animal…

Really? Ok, so during the race you're wet and you're forced to make contact with live wires thus sending electric current through your body. Happy?

I did the Warrior Dash in June. It really wasn't that hard, running the hilly terrain was harder than any of the obstacles. It's about 3 miles long so if you can run that far and climb a ladder you will probably be fine. You can go around any obstacle you don't want to do. I haven't done a Tough Mudder, but I have friends…

I've done that in the past, although I don't think it did much. I mixed it with ice, a few squirts of lemon juice, about 2-3 oz of cranberry juice and then filled the glass with water. It wasn't too bad.
