Do you have a pool nearby where you could swim? If you like dancing there are a lot of dance workout videos on YouTube that you can do at home. I also like to rollerblade on nice days.

Hello! I'm from W. WA too!

I like fruits and veggies but tend to stay with the same ones, not really branching out to try new things so I will find recipes that sound good with new types of fruits or vegetables in them and try it that way. For example, I have never liked eggplant. I've tried it a few times and always found it disgusting. My husband…

I bring my own :) I really like popcorn but our theaters post the calories in each of their menu items and after seeing the numbers I couldn't do it. I'll bring ziplock bags of popcorn, apple slices, carrot sticks, etc. You can also buy some small tupperware containers to bring peanut butter, nuts, etc.

I don't wear mine if I plan on riding the bike or run because my hands start to feel tight after about 30 minutes of cardio, no matter how much water I've drank previously. The ring then just feels uncomfortable. It's not too tight normally, it just feels constrictive. I also don't wear it if I'm lap swimming because I…

In all honesty, it doesn't taste like spaghetti noodles at all. I was a bit skeptical the first time I made it because I also love pasta in all forms. The idea of replacing delicious pasta noodles with a vegetable seemed ludacris but I gave it a try and I would now use spaghetti squash instead of pasta noodles in almost…

ZombiesRun! Okay - it does more than track mileage, it also gives you a zombie apocolypse story where you are a runner for a township trying to survive. There are missions where you have to run out to accomplish tasks or pick up items. It also integrates the storyline into your music so you are listening to music at the…

Not a soy hot dog recipe but I use the Field Roast sausages in marinara sauces over spaghetti squash

I scramble my eggs with a little turkey and Parmesan cheese. I really dislike eggs and this is one of the only ways I can eat them.

My husband rarely has toenails from all the running he does. It is fine to run as long as you are comfortable. You could try getting a pair of shoes that is half a size larger or has a wide toe area so that your toes have more room. I know that this has helped my husband a lot.

I had this same experience when planning my own wedding. We were expecting around 60 people (small). Since we were having a smaller wedding, my husband and I decided that we didn't want to serve hard alcohol at the wedding. We preset bottles of wine on the tables and there was beer near the buffet table. It really all…

My husband and I used this as a white elephant gift for Christmas. It's still being passed around 5 years later. We did attach a gift card to the bottom of it so I never knew which people were fighting for when it kept getting switched around.

Agree with the above comment. I am prone to shin splints despite icing and doing excercises to help. They were pretty bad when I was wearing a full-cushion shoe. I got a pair of Vibram 5 fingers and started running in those 1-2 times a week and my shins never hurt after my runs when I wore them - my calves definitely did…

I know how you feel. I have always been a slow runner - that's okay though because it is what I can do. I've learned that I have endurance, not speed, so while I can always strive for that 7 or 8 minute mile, I will probably only get to a 9 minute and that is with the speed exercises. Fortunately though I have support from…

My husband is an ultramarathon trail runner and definitely has his habits. Before any race we have to eat thai or indian food for dinner the night before, we have to get to the race at least an hour early regardless if the race only has 25 people in it, and he wears either his gray hat or black bandana  I on the…
