My goals are to park further away from the store when I'm out, get out my exercise ball to bounce on while I'm at my computer (I do a lot of surveys) and to get up and walk a minute after each survey completion, or if I'm watching TV, I LOVE the idea of walking around during commercials!

I'm no pro or anything by any means. I did the 1200 calorie diet after I had my third child. Lost weight quick, plateaued then put it back on when I got pregnant with my fourth. For me it was just not an attainable, long-term thing and was too hard to realistically stick to. This time around I am doing a 1600 calorie diet,…

I am DOWN!

I've always been told my eyes and my legs. I like my eyes. I think my legs are too muscular. Finding tall boots is a PAIN LOL! Nothing wants to fit my calves. That part of me is toned :D

I know it's almost the end of April, but I am jumping in feet first! Hope that's okay with everyone! We've hit some big struggles over the past month or so, so I'm restarting everything this week!!! Let the games begin! Starting date: 4/24/17 Starting weight: 218 Goal weight:130 Current weight:218 Total weight lost:- This…

My new thing is the Special K pastry crisps. So far I've tried brown sugar cinnamon, strawberry, and cookies and cream. They taste just like poptarts. I'm also a huge Belvita lover.

I've learned the hard way. This is a marathon, not a sprint. I allow myself off days or off meals to get my cravings out of the way when they nag me too much. And I keep on hand healthier versions of my old snacks. I have some 96% lean fresh hamburger patties in my freezer (individually wrapped) for when I want a burger. I…

I take quite a variety of supplements for adrenal support. Then again I'm a huge believer in supplements. I currently take Holy Basil, Korean Ginseng, Bacopa, Ashwagandha, Astragalus, Licorice Root, B-6 for energy, and Gingko Baloba (which is a recent addition). I have a multivitamin but I hate taking that thing. It's a…

I'd love some motivational friends! I don't have but a few that actually comment/like/encourage, so the more the merrier! Lost it once before, had my fourth baby, and now doing it all over again!

I have the same issues. I'm new to running. I stopped on week 4 due to knee pain and rested it for 2 weeks. I'm slowly trying to get back into it and so far so good, but only for short spurts. I do far more walking than running unfortunately. I think I OVERthink things. I need to go get fitted for shoes because I think…

I don't think I've heard of this stuff before. I did Xantrex 3 way back when and lost weight beautifully with it. Then I did a good job maintaining my weight off of it...until I quit smoking. Then my eating habits went a little nuts, then I got pregnant. SO now I am doing Thrive since it's all natural and it's more along…

I have found that there is A HUGE difference in my results depending on which type I use. I am short (only 5' 2") and weigh about 160. I would say that 85-90 % of my "problem area" is my stomach. Not my hips or my butt or arms or legs....all stomach. So when I do the standard height/weight/waist/hips measurement, my…

These are some of my favorites. Of course for healthier versions, you have to play around with the ingredients for lower fat/carb/cal versions. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Zesty-Slow-Cooker-Chicken-Barbecue/Detail.aspx http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Slow-Cooker-Chicken-and-Dumplings/Detail.aspx…

I most have face shots. I wasn't keen on taking my photo when I was heavier lol. This image was before I really started my journey, at my heaviest (around 230 or so). Now I am down to 167 and the after pic was taken a few days ago.

My biggest victories non-scale are I'm in much better health than I was for starters. Walking to the end of my road, which is slightly uphill and steeper in spots...used to exhaust me. I would dread walking up to the restaurant with my kids. Now I can power walk the entire road, plus around the shopping complex and back…

Hope you don't mind if I join a little late. My weight hasn't budged in the last couple of weeks so I'd really like to set a goal in mind and go for it. My birthday is on Aug 30th so my goal is to loose 25lbs by the 28th. That's less than 2lbs a week and I don't want to aim too high. SW: 180 GW by Aug 28th: 155 or less…
