  • I am in the same boat, but I'm also a picky eater, so meat is my main source. I've only had a protein shake once but mixed it with "healthy" ice cream (I believe it was Nick's-highly recommended btw). Way too thick haha! I know if I'm running low on protein and don't have any meat handy or in a rush, I LOVE the Power…
  • More protein and fiber to help you feel fuller. Also, try eating 3 smaller meals with a snack in between.
  • I would make the switch to diet (trust me after about a week, the weird taste is no more and it tastes normal), but I would HONESTLY still cut back. I am a diet Mt. Dew junkie, but I only have like usually one a day and that's usually with dinner. Diet Dr. Pepper is pretty good as well. I hate diet Coke but that's just me.…
  • Great so far!!! What's more is my motivation is back. Having scale issues kinda put me down in the dumps since it was like all my progress came to a halt. I'm trying to think beyond that this week, plus revert myself back away from old habits of throwing in the towel and stress eating when I'm stressed. It was much easier…
  • Ok didn't see this til today but I'm in. I"m usually pretty meticulous about logging, but have slacked off the past week and can feel the difference. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my food scale. Best few bucks I've spent on myself next to my running shoes and FitBit lol. It helps me to be super accurate. I even use that in place of…

  • I've become much more mindful of making sure I move around more than just during exercise. My body aches less since it has less time to be still. Thanks for the awesome challenge!
  • Hitting the trail!
  • I like the text idea. I never have time to watch TV so that's kinda moot for me, but I do listen to a lot of music. I love to put it on when I'm in the kitchen. I sing and dance while cooking or cleaning. Will definitely do that again today!
  • Well my daughter beat me to my spring cleaning project....matching all of our lids to our bowls! Hahaha we had all sorts of mysterious lids that didn't have matching bowls. I came home from running and she had sorted not only those, but the cups (especially kid cups) as well! So I'll need to come up with a new spring…
  • Couple hiccups so far.... Me: 13 LNS: 3
  • Sundays are my grocery shopping days. I make a wide circle visiting all of the grocery stores in my area so I get in plenty of steps that day. (As you can see this is late so my Sunday was a busy one lol)
  • My bucket list is traveling. There's so many places I really want to see! Coming up in October I get to visit Nashville for the first time for my niece's bachelor party  but my number one spots are Thailand, Ireland, and Scotland!
  • I went to give blood at my daughter's school so I parked further away at the trail I normally walk on that ends near her school and walked there. Then afterwards I walked the trail. Every time I go to the store now I remind myself to park a little further away to get in a few extra steps.

It's been a stressful week. Challenges:…
  • Well I'd like to get in a walk (which will probably include pulling the little one in her wagon) BUT it's supposed to start storming here today so that may not happen. I didn't get around to cleaning out my dresser from yesterday (oops) but I did manage to get in almost 18K in steps so I think that's just as good lol. So I…
  • Mine's not much of a workout but I was looking at my clothes in my dresser this morning while putting away laundry (which is a task in itself with 6 people in a household) and I think after my daughter wakes up for the day I'm going to go through it all. No telling what I'll find lol. I have shorts from back when I was…
  • May I share the first image? I love that!!! I did one short (7 min) walk this morning to walk our dog. I did a longer one yesterday and this time instead of putting in my headphones for music, I just listened to nature. It's so soothing. I'm sort of a weirdo...I like walking in the rain too. Yeah I get wet and my hair gets…
  • I'm using WorkRave on my computer to remind me to move every 30 minutes. What I love about it is that it is based off my amount of activity, so if I get up and move around while in the middle of the timer, it pauses, then continues counting down once I become active again.
  • The only changes I have made have sorta been small I guess. I follow my FitBit religiously. Try to get up and move around at least every hour. I precook all of my food for the entire week on Mondays so I don't have to think about it. Just heat up and go. I'm also trying to NOT eat after 8:30pm. I want to eventually get…
  • Well I'm fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom, but I do a lot of computer "work" with surveys and such (my little spending money) but won't be doing much of that today! It's Monday so it's my cooking day for the week! I pre-prepare all of my meals for the entire week. This way I can cook everything healthy all at…

Pre-cooked my meals for the week again and was able to stick to everything quite easily.…
  • Today's Sunday so it's grocery shopping day! I am usually out for hours when I grocery shop because I made a big loop on all the local groceries to get the best deals. It also gets me moving a lot and I get in a lot of steps cruising up and down each aisle. I may hit the trail again too if I have time!
  • I went out on the trail today near my house. It's my favorite spot to walk! Paved, but surrounded by nature. It was quiet out too since it's been cloudy all day, and it did rain a little during my journey, but I loved the stillness! Got in about 4 miles of walking/jogging!
  • Gahhh I did this a few days ago! LOL I went through my filing cabinet and all the papers in it. I did download one of the reminder programs and was able to adjust it to making me take a break every 30 minutes. I like that. I get up and do my usual chores at that time, such as washing dishes, or loading laundry. If I'm…
  • In! This is something I've been pushing for the past two weeks. So far so good! But I'll count from Monday. I do a cut off time. I aim for 8:30, but I want to make it earlier than that. So from this point on, no food for me after 8pm. Next week I'll shoot for 7:30! Me: 3 LNS: 0!!
  • I'll check out that app! I have a Windows phone so I'll bet it's not available for it (nothing is). Yesterday I set my kitchen timer on my stove every 30 minutes. I had to get up to turn it off then reset it again. I'd find something to do while I was in there each time. I ended up getting in over 18K in steps!
  • Done! I got in one short walk this morning. About to fix breakfast then catch up on work, but while I do, I will get up at LEAST every 30 minutes!! Let's rock this Wednesday! :p
  • I think I'm going to set my FitBit to alarm me every 30 minutes. It buzzes the crap out of my arm LOL so great reminder!
