  • I would also benefit from this explanation! :D

  • Wow, I had no idea anyone hated yoga! I looooveeee yoga. I feel like all my problems would be solved if I could just fold myself in half (illogical). I guess I just hate upper body stuff because my upper body is primarily composed of taffy.
  • Oh man, I hate burpees. I think that stems from my hatred of push ups... I will try the beginner bupee they show in the video. Sometimes I feel like saying "Ya know, I'll just have flabby arms. Who cares, as long as my core is strong." I always talk myself out of the outlook but it is oh, so tempting.
  • I always use the carcass/parts to make a chicken stock. I assume this is healthy, not really sure. I usually use the stock to make a veggie soup. That way it is healthy and full of veggies but still has some protein and delicious chicken flavor. I really like using summer squash/zucchini, corn and green chile to make a…
  • I do this too. I don't know why but my mom (an enthusiastic maker of guacamole) always swore by keeping the pit in the side of the avocado you are not going to use right away. A pit makes for a happy avocado, I guess.

  • I really want to do this but I know if I try it in my current shape I won't make it through. I mostly ignored the quality of my food and didn't exercise until about a week ago. I figure I will give myself a month or so doing 1 hour of yoga and 30 minutes to 1 hour of cardio every day (or at least 6 days/week) to get a bit…
  • Hey, I have the same problem, I'm 5'8" and busty so for me it was partly slouching to not be so awkwardly tall and partly just having a tired back from the chest weight. I totally agree with everyone that has been saying yoga but I wanted to post a link to a free online yoga class I've been doing daily, Each session is 1…
  • Hi! I'm in the same boat as you but a little shorter and a little lighter. I'm 5'8" and 160ish. Honestly I haven't weighed myself in almost 6 months so I don't really know how much I weigh. (I need a scale pretty badly but a yoga mat was priority one of getting in shape). Anywho, just wanted to say hi. I just started…
  • Definitely going to try this. The hardest part, for me, of becoming healthy is learning and being motivated to cook. Dunno how I made it this far without those basic skills but I'm sure just eating healthy will help with the waistline. Why does convenience food have to be so damn convenient? lol
