Fantastic! I tell my husband that my ambition is to make him look like a cradle robber. He's actually only 2 years older than I am.

210 for July! Not going to beat that for August with 2 weeks holiday but I'll see what I can do for Sept.
-
I'm going to try 2 weeks of maintenance calories and different exercises (mostly swimming) while on holiday. Cross my fingers.
-
182 as of July 21. Hope to crack 200 by the end of the month. ;-D

Good solution! Nice to know you've given yourself options.

Hot: as long as they go the full Picard. Shaved or buzzed quite short. The combover and the other camoflage techniques: NOT!

Good job! That's what it's all about: being fit and slim enough to enjoy life!

I hear you. One thing I would say is not to project these feelings on your husband. I may be disappointed with the shape in the mirror but he's says it's like making love to an entirely different body. Give your hubbie a chance to show his appreciation for how far you've come.

Way to go! Fantastic attitude!

Up to 126 now.

Trail mix. Healthy fat from nuts and seeds and a chewy sugar hit from raisin or other dried fruit. But a small portion because it is quite calorie dense! Whole grain cracker or pita with laughing cow light cheese wedge.
-
Total of 98 mi now. This is fascinating. I've never kept track before.

You weigh after you eat something? How about if you but on your boots and a big heavy coat? How much does that make you gain? LOL! You already know the answer, put away the scale and weigh yourself once a week or even once a month for a while. If you're under your cal +exercise, don't stress about eating a 'bad' food.…

You need at least a 10 minute cool down so that you can stop sweating before the shower. You may have to cut a little of the workout if the time is too tight.

I agree that you don't want to badmouth this guy and need to be there for your friend but I don't see any reason why you should hang out with him. I would say that I appreciate how much of her time she's giving to me over the weekend and that I understand that she also wants to spend some time with her boyfriend. In fact,…

Remember how go it felt and how proud you were of yourself. And just start again. Don't worry about the off track.

Any calf stretches: stand on the edge of a stair and push your heel down. One at a time. Hold for a count of 10 and do the other one. 5 or 6 reps. Do it again later in the day. Forward lunge. Make sure that the toes are pointed straight forward. Just stand and lift the toe off the ground as high as you can. One at a time.…

I'm in. 40 mi so far this month.
-
Hurray for you! That's a terrific NSV.
-
A very positive change. Way to go!

It didn't go on in a day. Just stick with it!
-
Hold fast! You're doing too well to give up now.

Instant oatmeal with a tablespoon of trailmix and skim milk for breakfast. Salad with hard boiled egg and lots of green pepper and mushrooms for lunch. Chicken, brown rice and lots of brocolli for dinner. Snack of cheddar cheese (or laughing cow wedge) and an apple. Walking the dog after dinner got me about 150 extra…

LOL! Now that would be TMI. Congratulations!

I'm pretty much using it as is, and definitely was for the first 6 months during which I lost 20 pounds. I also couldn't exercise much (injury then pneumonia) so had to do it mostly by counting calories.
-
Well done! Changing the way you act with food is HUGE!

Remember how we are all celebrating how the femi-nazis of the past got us the vote, the ability to own property rather than be property ourselves and to choose how we live our lives? Let's not hate on all the single moms and dad and all those dual earner families who are struggling to work and raise the kids. My hats off…

Good job!

Here's a Woot Woot! from me too. :drinker:

You're not even counting the 200 ugly pounds that you lost in the form of your soon-to-be ex!
