Yeah I was definitely worried. I was really enjoying that trail, but I think there are cougars there often so I think I'll maybe have to find a new 13 mile route. Correction, I should have written. 44 WTD 51 MTD

Interesting run on Friday. Was running and saw a cougar about 5 meters (yards) away. I didn't want to run back the same way so my 13 mile out and back turned into a 17 mile loop. 37 WTD 44 MTD

Week 1: 7.3 Week 2 so far: 13.3 Thanks again for organizing this.

Dropped the ball on checking in and on finishing my miles. 75 for the month I'm in for 100 for next month.

13 yesterday 50 for the month

17.5 miles yesterday. Felt great and I'm not in too bad of shape today. That's my longest run!
-
Just 8 miles for the week
-
Thanks. Good luck on your race too! 10 miles for the week. I just moved to a new place which is all hills. On the plus side its only 7.5 miles from work so I can ran home after work a few times per week. Looking forward to that.

Awesome! Nice job.

5 miles today including a 4 mile time trial in 28:28. I am very happy with this time Splits were: 7:17 7:25 7:01 6:45 I think I'm on track for a good 10k in October, which will be my first race ever.

Thanks! I'll probably lots of running on the honeymoon. The fiancée likes running and I usually get way more running in during vacations. It's all the lead up to the wedding that will suck my time away.
-
100 Miles done. Thanks for organizing this Cooriander!
-
In for 80. Getting married this month so I'm dialing it back a bit.
-
Great job. I didn't think I'd make it either. What's ARC? I will have to reach my goal in two batches as well. I need to another 2 miles tonight to make it to 100 miles.

15 Miles for week 4. I snuck in an extra run last night.
-
3 miles today. 11 for the week :-(. Arches didn't hurt much today. I think I'm getting better.
-
8 miles yesterday after taking a week off for my calves to heal. Was very disappointed that my arches hurt right away. Looks like my goal of 100 miles will be quite a stretch if I don't want to get hurt more.

Thanks. I do swig some pickle juice when I'm cramping if I have some. I'm properly hydrated (drink lots everyday and weigh myself before and after runs). I think I might be able to run by Wednesday, which might be too late to get in the 30 more miles I wanted to get this month.
-
Thanks. These cramps are like nothing I've had before. This is the third day that I can hardly walk. I'll have to go pickup a foam roller.
-
7 miles today, the only run so far this week. Motivation is lacking this week. Cramps in my legs might force me to take at least 1, likely two days off.
-
Week 1: 32 miles Week 2: 31 miles (I think I was mistakenly recorded is 21) Going to take this week easy and not bug my PF.

Week 1: 32 miles Week 2: 31 miles MTD: 63

7 miles last night WTD: 21

I do this. A lot. Here are some things that worked for me. Recognize: It takes a lot of work. You've spent a lot of time developing thought patterns that encourage this behavior and and you will need to spend a lot of time to reverse this. Start by learning to use this tool:…

Week 1: 32 miles WTD: 10 miles

Sunday: 13.1 Tuesday: 5.0 Wednesday: 8.9 MTD: 27 miles Probably won't have a chance to run until Monday now :(
-
In in for 100 miles this month. Ran 13.1 miles yesterday and I'm going to try to rest today. This month I'm focusing on getting in shorter (<10 mile), but more frequent runs instead of killing myself and having to take days off all the time.

A specialized running store is not generally a place where you can get good advice on foot wear and the prices are often quiet high. It's probably best if you learn to run in a few different shoes. My strategy has been to buy highly recommend shoes on sale and mix them into my rotation. Try on everything. Don't buy…

I have a polar rs800 but I think Garmin makes much better products. I would look at their offerings first.
