I think, if you have your Fitbit set up this way, it only syncs with MFP once you are in WIFI area...so if you are logging calories all day with MFP, but dont sync your fitbit til lunch then not again until you go to bed that night, it may be in the negatives because Fitbit assumed you would have more steps by that time…

Thanks everyone! I do exercise quite regularly, was just curious if I took a few days off and ate my calorie allowance, if that would still help me to lose weight or if it's just maintaining. Thanks again!

May I ask why you think HRM and weight training doesn't work? If your heart rate is up, you are burning calories. So why would this not be the same for weight training?
