Wanted two, had two. Girl (now five) and boy (almost two). Now my husband is snipped and we will have no more- and I have no problems with that!

If you've lost that many inches, then you're probably gaining muscle while you're losing fat. A pound of muscle is much smaller than a pound of fat (volume-wise), so you'd easily lose many inches for every pound of muscle gained and fat lost.

Advocare is a pyramid scheme. Nothing they have is anything different than what you can buy at Walmart. They have a placebo effect. Of course you're going to lose weight on the 24 day challenge- it's making you work out and eat more healthy! That's how most normal people lose weight. I have a friend that is a pro MMA…

Mine can last for a week, and I've gained as much as 9 lbs from bloating. I felt like an over stuffed sausage....

dietstrokes, I'm going to definitely try some of that stuff out! Supposedly the Walmart down the road carries it, so I'm highly interested.

ladimang, thanks for those links! I'm going to check them out for sure. dietstrokes, I'm off to check it out as soon as I finish here. WeekendDM52, I wish that swimming was an option for me, but it's not. I have no facilities available, or else I would definitely take advantage of it.

Disagree. It's actually motivating for me to learn about my intake, finding people who have taught me about BMR and TDEE so that I can see what a healthy intake is for me. I can see days where I'm really off, and days where I'm doing awesome. I can see just how bad some things are and feel better about staying away from…

Nice! My NSV for the day: Realizing just how much my confidence is increasing each day that I work out- light or hard. I managed to do 30DS for the second day, but this time in front of my husband and I wasn't embarrassed! I may not have lost much weight, but I'm losing my self-loathing!

No one? :(

I haven't done any art in quite some time, but I've done mostly graphite pencil and pen and ink stuff: But stupid photobucket isn't wanting to post anything for me...

Since it only counts for the different meal times, and not just as a whole of what you use, mine is this: For breakfast, coffee is first. For lunch, celery. For dinner, butter. For snacks, Kraft 2% string cheese.

I started it today, and would love to keep up with some other people!

Elzettel, I took an iron supplement, and I felt LOADS better.
-
astrampe, I think it's pretty accurate because I usually cut the actual time I'm doing things in half because I've heard just how high the estimates on MFP can be for exercise. I guess I didn't think I was really netting that low since I have a decent intake.
-
jaduff, I've tried meditation. It's actually frustrating for me because I can't shut my stupid brain up to relax. As soon as I get quiet time, my trains of thought derail and my thoughts are running from the wreckage all over the place.
-
elzettel, I should have an iron level check. I've been anemic before, so it would probably be a good idea since I don't think it's a carb crash and I do make sure I've got some form of protein each time I eat.

The worst part is that I have insomnia issues. Despite being so damn tired, as soon as I go to lay down, my mind just starts racing.
-
Bridget, I do. I have a multi and a do a B complex. grapegirl, I'm sure I'm eating enough. I try not to net (not gross- I could never gross that low) below 1200, and the only fat I keep track of is saturated fats.

I have a pretty crappy thyroid that is now finally within normal range with medication. I've barely been losing weight, but I've been told my body just might need to catch up. Good luck to you! Add me if you'd like.
-
Feel free to add me. I haven't lost much at all, but I like encouraging people. :)

Ironanimal, this is the fourth doctor. I'm a vet and my health care has not been in the best of hands. This last one finally allowed me to up my dosage on my thyroid medication. Most days, I do cardio dance- usually an hour at a time, 5 to 7 days a week. I've been adding 45 min of kettle bells in three days a week. The…

I don't even weigh myself constantly. I do it weekly. Everyone says take it slow and that you didn't put the weight on that fast, so you've got to expect it to come off slow. Well, mine DID come on quickly. I gained forty pounds in six months after my thyroid stopped working right. I've been fighting this for five freaking…

The numbers DO matter when you're a small framed woman at 200 lbs. Number DO matter at that point. Doctors don't give a flying rat's a** about the tape measure. You can be eating well and working out, but as soon as you step onto that scale, the "you need to lose some weight" line comes out. I get the "you're lying" look…

I've got hypothyroidism as well. It's taken me five years to get it under control. I'm up to 50mcg of Synthroid, and I believe my last blood work had me right around a 2 for my TSH. If you're not getting blood work done, that's definitely the first thing to do. Also, ensure you are taking your medication at the same time…

Hi! I'll send you a request. :) I'm a mom of 2 as well.

Hi! I'm a Navy vet married to a disabled Marine vet. :) I'll send you a request!
-
Hi! You can add me if you like. I usually get on here a couple of times a day!

I always work my wine into my calories. I'm not a big carb eater in the first place, so I have no guilt in making sure I have enough calories to have my wine in the evening! I drink moscato, muscadine and sweet reds. I think most people have issues with alcohol and weight loss because of mixers with hard liquor as opposed…

I'm a snarky smarta**. My husband calls it "being b*****". :D Proud of that.

Howdy! :) I'll send you a request. I'm a mom of two and used to be thin as a rail and flat as a board. Now I'm looking to get the weight off, get fit and kick *kitten*. :D
