Worked out last night even though I was tired and really didn't want to go. Also, went jeans shopping yesterday and fit in a size THIRTEEN. At my highest I was wearing a size 24.

You WILL get there. I did it-you can too :) i was 5’2, 262 lbs and a tight size 24. Now I'm 171, size 14-sometimes 12, and even fit into medium shirts sometimes. Everything at Torrid is too big now :) it does take time-its taken me 16 months so far, but that time is going to go by ::regardless::. You can spend it staying…

I know exactly what you mean. I was a 24, now I'm a 14, and obviously i feel a million times better, but i don't feel thin. Even though when i walk and look down i just see my breasts & legs (no tummy sticking outt like before), i still dont feel thin. I dont think I will til I'm a 10 or under, honestly. It's hard…

not today, but yesterday: I messed up, but I didn't MESS UP. I always count that as a win, because it was a huge problem for me before I figured out how to lose weight and do it healthily and sustainably. The smallest "messup" would send me into a binge. If I had planned 400 calories for breakfast and ended up eating 450,…

congrats! I remember hitting Onederland and being so happy :) I'm now at 174 - 12 more pounds and I'll have lost 100. I agree 100% with "dont let one bad meal turn into several". For years that was my biggest downfall - any little slipup and I'd give up and fall off the wagon. Now, I just let it go. One bad meal, even if…

We make time for what's important to us ;). Exercise has been crucial to my weight loss and changing my body shape. Without it, I'd have still lost weight, but wouldnt be nearly as shapely and toned as i am now. I started out just walking :)

In 3 mos I'd like to be 24 lbs lighter. I still have about 50 lbs to go, so i think 24 by new years is doable. In a year, I'd like to be at 125 and in maintenance, happy with my body, and living with D. In NYC, with a fulfilling job I love, and a pet pit bull named Agron :)

Congrats! I'm almost there - started at a tight 24, now I'm in 14s. The day I fit in 12s I will be over the moon :)

I'm 5'2" and small framed. Currently at 174, and i want to get down to 130 or under. Afraid of losing my boobs if I get too thin tho :( Would love some more 5'2" ladies to post so we can see how they look at 135-145.

you go, girl! you look happy :)

"Did you lose, like, a ton of weight?" Lol. She meant well though, and honestly I thought it was funny. Besides, I DID lose, like, a ton of weight :)

Haha, that's a great pic, looks fun :)
-
I can see it :) keep up the good work! Off topic-are you shooting in the 1st pic? :)
-
You look freaking beautiful. Congrats!
-
Great job!
-
Looking good :) btw, has anyone ever told you you look a little like Jessica Biel?
-
You look fantastic! It really is about not letting a slip up derail you. That's what I used to do, but I'm so much better about it now. It's possible to change if you put in the effort!

your tummy looks amazing :)

you look so good :) congrats!

wow, you look great!

great job!

a year from now, you'll wish you'd started today. That saying helped me a LOT when I first started at 262 lbs. Now it's 15 mos later and I'm down 83 lbs. Time will go by, regardless of whether you're working on losing weight or not. You can either have progress to show in a year, or not. Up to you :)
-
It's definitely doable. From your ticker it looks like you're doing great so far! Just keep at it - time WILL go by, and pounds WILL fall off :)

If I can inspire people, then that makes me happy :) My life is a lot better now. I want everyone to feel the happiness I feel :) It doesn't magically get rid of all your problems, losing weight, but it makes most of them easier to deal with, and enables you to find other ways to get through the hard times. Also, I wanted…

Thanks so much to everyone who replied! <3 A few more things that I do to lose weight. As always, YMMV, this is what worked for ME. One "free day" a week. Yes, I did this and still lost weight. I don't call it a cheat day because I'm not "cheating" on anything - I just have a day with no restrictions. Interestingly, the…

There is a quote that helped me a LOT during the beginning: "A year from now, you'll wish you started today." Print it out and tape it to your mirror, or your fridge. It's SO true. Although one good thing about being really big (I like to look at the bright side, lol), is that at first, the weight should come off pretty…

Thanks! Yeah, one of my favorite things about losing weight is that I can wear cute shoes again! Before my feet were just too puffy. They're not quite down to normal tho - I tried on a pair of Michael Kors last week - they zipped up the front, they were SO sexy - but I couldn't get the zipper all the way to the top. I was…

Thanks for the advice :) I'm still a little wary of going to the gym - I know it's stupid, but... I was thinking of going when I hit 160 or so. I do see what heavy lifting has done for some of the women on this site, and it's definitely inspiring. Right now I do a Jillian Michaels abs dvd, and squats with a weight bar (no…
